It's possible, i definitely wouldn't expect anything below that.

However if you compare it to the 3870x2, it launched at that price, and Nvidia cards are normally more expensive... So I assume it is going to cost more.

well i don't have much experience with virus's, however I would suggest reformatting if you don't have anything very important on your drive.

as for anti-virus and a firewall, AVG is a good free anti-virus program and windows has a firewall program built in, if you're using a router it should have one as well.

[QUOTE="incredible_one"]

I have a 512mb Nvidia 8800gt graphics card. I'd like to know if getting a second card and using it with SLI technology will increase my performance noticeably, improve the fps and allow me to max out the graphics. Thanks

btw, I play games such as Crysis, Company of Heroes, Half-Life 2.

mattpunkgd

I don't think you can max half-life 2 with 2 8800gt's in sli....

....what?

a single 8800gt can max HL2

8.3 lbs is not really portable. That's more of a desktop replacer.RK-Mara

agreed, and 17" laptops are HUGE (imo anyway), but sadly those seem to be the only ones with high end graphics cards.
