Good for you. Unfortunately for me, I recently bought a new subscription about a week before they started reducing their prices :( but yeah soon they'll be 30 bucks everywhere, as Microsoft has already announced that they planned to reduce the prices of XBL subscriptions overall.atm0073
really? must have missed that. i got mine on amazon for $29.99 anyhow, but didn't know microsoft was planning on reducing the price. good to know.

I doubt it will be able to play very well. NVIDIA is bringing Stereo3D back as well, but as it is right now, you'd need a 120Hz display to even try it, which would HAVE to be done in dual link DVI, because HDMI spec won't support anything higher than a 60Hz signal.codezer0
lol, no HDMI can support 120Hz just fine. go learn.

make sure the disks aren't cracked in the center. if it's not that, then you're going to have console problems.

At the moment I prefer match-making, it usually gives me a better gaming experince, rather then have a team of people that always play together against a team of people that have just been stuck together, match-making in CoD WAW works really well, while GeOW 2 is having some real problems, I think a combination of both would be idea...

i think a lot of people don't understand the differences. gears 2 uses matchmaking and is host based because one of the players in the match is the actual host. halo 3 uses matchmaking but has dedicated servers to host the match. i prefer dedicated servers because i think we've all been in gears matches where the host just kills everyone. there is a huge diffference in being the host in gears and not. one of the main problems in gears 1 that was not addressed in 2.

matchmaking is painfully slow and when i get into a game one of my team has already dropped out so i never win. either that or it's laggy 50% of the time. horde is never laggy which is kinda weird that matchmaking would be. other than that it's great

yeah i guess survival is pretty easy on normal. if you know what you're doing, the game is meant to be played on expert. it's much more fun.
