[QUOTE="trax0r1990"]

I was looking into buying a hd tv, but for the time being I was thinking about just buying the VGA cable and plugging it into my monitor, because I've heard some really good things. The main issue that I have is the audio, obviously my monitor doesn't have speakers, and the only other source I can think of are my logitech 2.1 speakers that just use the standard single jack socket that splits into 2.1 itself.

Does anybody have an idea of what I should do? I've been thinking about it for a while and it's beginning to stress me out. It's either this or save up for a nice high definition television.

You can purchase a Y adapter that puts the red and white cables together (like this:http://www.radioshack.com/sm-buy-the-4-inch-mono-y-adapter-on-http-wwwradioshackcom--pi-2102953.html) so you can plug them into the single jack socet.

Thats what i had to do for my monitor. Hope it helps!

this guy is right but by them here

The wii is by far better for your family than a PS3 or 360. It's cheaper, more accessible, easier to hook up, simpler, smaller, and has access to all the party and family games.goblaa

the wii is actually harder to hook up than the 360. with the sensor bar and wi-fi, taking the most time. the 360 you just plug in and go. not that either one of them is hard. this just sounded like an odd statement.

just thought you should know. also the 360 has a wide variety of family titles as well. the wii is definitly better for younger children though.

they don't mess up... you either have it in wrong or you can take it back if you have a faulty one. quit being so dramatic. this could keep me from gaming!? give me a break.

i see why you like it if you like it for what it does, but i dislike it for what it fails at so hard. there is no such thing as aiming, the camera is lousy, the combat system which wastes an analog system isn't even close to being effective for how much controller room it hogs up. i would prefer the right stick to be an aiming thing and have a button for attacks it does, then just point in which direction with the left stick to do those things and you have a way better camera.paullywog

wow... you honestly don't think they tried that? i'm sure there is a reason for why the combat is controlled with the right analog stick. with all the development time this game has had, i'm sure they've weighed all the options of how the combat should be controlled. i admit it seems a bit weird at first but you get used to it. i found myself trying to adjust the camera several times with the right stick. i think the game is going to be great. it's a shame there are people out here that disagree, but to each their own. i know i'll get it the day it comes out.

Great another SKU :roll: Way to got MS cause even more confusion about the differences between your systems. Joe Schmoe dosnt get it. Customer confusion=less sales. I work in retail I know.robotecha5

do you really need to work in retail to know that? but yeah it would be confusing, and this is far from confirmed. most likely it would be offered as an add-on similar to the HD-DVD i would assume, but what do i know?
