[QUOTE="deadlyabdus123"]but I started using the FRAG FX for ps3 before it broke (mouse controller combo) and I owned everyone. Inputs matter dude, they matter alot. edidili
They do when you compare a controller with a mouse but not when you compare a mouse with another mouse.
go up and look at the MOD'S reply to my thread, DPI matters dude.[QUOTE="deadlyabdus123"][QUOTE="bobbetybob"]Thats the thing, its funny, if a developer made a game specifically catering to a specific medium gaming computer, the visuals would looke photorealistic I bet. You do realize that the even though PC games look great, the coding is limited because they have to make it adaptable to different systems. Yes I realise that and still, if they focused on one pre built machine with a GTX580 in it they could push a lot of stuff but the gap would still not be as mind blowing as people would expect. They need to realise that in terms of what they're looking at graphics will start plateauing, but we'll start seeing a ton of little details that will push graphics forwards, like insanely large textures which means much, much better detail, tons and tons of random lighting and smoke and other effects like bokeh depth of field and all sorts. The leap to next gen will dissapoint a lot of people I think, everyone excepts a PS1 to PS2 or PS2 to PS3 style jump but really it's not going to happen, well, it will but it won't be as noticeable a difference as before. It sickens me, i blame the wii, development is going to alternative playforms, i wonder how much Sony spent on the failure of a device like the MOVE, they shoulda spent that money getting out all the canceled sony games (getaway, 8 days). And also into more development for the ps4. Progress should only be about graphics and gameplay, not inputs, after we hit the photorealism and A.I. plateau, then we should deal with How we play the game.Get used to it because it's only going to look smaller and smaller. In terms of hardware the gap is still huge, but the things that are increasing in quality in games are small details rather than gigantic things like before

I didnt start FPS on consoles till COD4, all other MP experiences, FEAR, battlefield 2, etc, i used mouses. I been a PC gamer for years till i got a ps3. Im really good at it, i just do not trust the setups that people have. like people who have stuff like this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826146022[QUOTE="deadlyabdus123"][QUOTE="edidili"]
Wth are you talking about? How does mouse make a difference. It seams to me you're not good at shooters in PC since they require a bit more accuracy and reflexes and you're just blaming your mouse.
edidili
but what setups seriously. You think there are mouses out there that help you autokill everyone on sight? I'm using a cheap one at the moment and I don't have any problem with it. It looks to me like you want to play a shooter with autoaim.
um i owned in all games, try playing a game of fear with all the hacks that the server had, its the fastest paced twitchest game I ever played. i say it helped make sure I own at everything. In fact when i got a ps3, i failed hard using the controller, now im back on top after a steep learning curve but I started using the FRAG FX for ps3 before it broke (mouse controller combo) and I owned everyone. Inputs matter dude, they matter alot.Yes devs want money, publishers want money, they hire PR guys to try and convince you they care but bottom line is they don't. Its always been about money or gaining status in the industry which inevitably means they can charge more money from publishers.JohnF111whats wrong with that, loyalty disgusts me, i applaud a developer going after money more than pleasing fanboys. Thats how the world should, it makes more logical sense.

Im pro-pc dude, it disgusts me that ill be forced to get the PS3 version, and ur logic doesent sway me. Im glad DICE is taking PC route first, and as for play logs, ps4 would take at least a year or two and a price drop before people really buy them. First adopters make me sick.[QUOTE="deadlyabdus123"]It disgusts me to say this but even though I have a pretty decent 480gtx setup,
Yeah, compulsory "I have a gaming PC" before stating anything anti-PC.
I will be forced to get the ps3 version because I cannot trust the MP experience on PC. First, pc gamers tend to be more hardcore and have crazy mouses with precision aiming, my cheap Logitech cannot compete. I want a wide variety of people to play with, not just hardcore ones. PS3 owners are more likely to have the same control although other controllers do exist for it.
You don't need expensive high-end gaming mouses or keyboards, I top score a lot and I just use cheap Dell and Phillips mouses and keyboards. And there are a mixture of good people and bad people on PC just look at public games and competitive games.
2nd, i dont trust that it will sell the most, meaning a couple years down the line, lobbys wont be as full. I did the same for CODand any other MP centric multiplat game.
The thing is, would anyone still be playing any multiplatform PS3 game online when the PS4 or PS5 arrives?
In fact, i hope to god many of my fav titles dont come with MP or come with crappy MP so i dont have to purchase it for my ps3 and can get much better visuals on my PC. Looking at the visuals on BF3 on fallon for ps3 made me sick, I spat at the TV. I was expecting a new god but even crysis 2 looks better on consoles. That being said, I will somehow find a way to play the single player on PC so I can enjoy some sort of DX11 glory.
Well of course, you do know that Battlefield 3 is being developed for PCs first and consoles second?
