the psp control is not a console control, VITA has 2 analog sticks, simple as that, 3ds will have a COD but it will not be on the level of VITA. I think VITA will be able to match its console brothern as far as features to almost pure graphics, the 3ds tech cannot. The ONLY thing the vita is missing is triggers, and I can do without because i use L1 and R1 to control shots. i dont use grenades either. people who use grenades make me sick.So why did COD sell so badly on PSP? Why didn't COD on Wii eclipse the other versions even though it has a bigger user base?
No, COD isn't even coming out for the Vita this year. They are simply "working" on it. Infact, I'd expect a 3DS version much sooner than a Vita version
I mean, its not like they've been making pretty good handheld CODs for the PSP the last 3-4 years, unlike how they have for the DS
No, people don't want to buy a handheld to play the same games they can on their big TVs. The 3DS will succeed by having unique IPs that have broad appeal and can only be found on 3DS literally and conceptually.
The Vita will be a "Me too" handheld that wants to be a home console just like the PSP, thus resulting in an identity crisis and confusing consumers as to what the reasons they should buy it really need to be.

O.K., seriously, what are you basing these percentages on? 75% of a generation? What does that even mean?
dzimm
lol lets not be so literal here eh? It means the gap is not as big as Wii to PS3. Definitely not as big. But the gap is quite noticeable and big enough that you might htink it is almost a generation ahead. Obviously a generation ahead means nothing if you are not comparing it, but I am indeed comparing it to what we are used to seeing in a leap.
This whole notion of comparing systems based on "generation" has gotten absurd. What's under the hood matters less than what's on the screen, and judging by screenshots, the 3DS and Vita are pretty much tied.
i feel like your a nintendo loyalist for saying that, no way are they tied, im sorry.vita has touch screens that i can see be used to lob grenades and the triggers on top will work fine from what I see. It disgusts me people dont see the gravity of having call of duty on vita for the systemNo series stays on top and a multiplatform game is usually not a system seller. Also when it's a game about pulling triggers you probably want triggers.

add me, my psn is deadlyliquidx you just failed and got owned, owned!!!Someone's jelly they don't have a ps3.

you do realize getting games to 60 fps means reducing graphics, fps is more about gameplay than graphics. Another failure of a comment. That is one reason Nintendo's games are mostly at 60 FPS because it helps the gameplay.[QUOTE="deadlyabdus123"][QUOTE="EdenProxy"]
Want to know what disgusts me. Graphic horses
Nintendo_Ownes7
Nintendo games at 60 FPS
Super Mario Galaxy (Wii)Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Wii)Metroid Prime (GCN)Metroid Prime 2: Echoes (GCN)Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (Wii)Metroid Prime Trilogy (Wii)Donkey Kong Country Returns (Wii)Flingsmash (Wii)Sin & Punishment: Star Successor (Wii)F-Zero X (N64)F-Zero GX (GCN)I think that is all of Nintendo's 60 FPS games.
I mean in HD of course, im not here to talk about nintendo, that company disgusts me, its franchises disgust me and have no interest to me, kid icarus ? seriously.... Im talking more in the likes of COD, im pretty sure their giving up a ton of resources in the graphics department simply to play the game in 60 fps, Thats why bad company 2 is soo awesome, destructable environments, but 30 fps, that makes me sick (cept on pc of course)
