@aovannor @deadpeasant Yes exactly! I would say that as consumers we have the choice to spend our money or not. I personally pay to own a game and then trade it when I'm finished with it.
@aovannor When you pay to use the pool, your not actually taking ownership of the pool for an hour so no you could not sell 30 mins of it. Not a great analogy there.
I don't like the sound of this "social gaming" aspect they are supposed to be focusing on. Just focus on creating a powerful and open platform for games development thats all i want. If I want social stuff i can go on facebook, twitter, skype, send a text or any of the other millions of ways to be social.
Well I think a reboot might be something good. It definitely needs to change from the road its currently on. And an open world might be cool if they went down the DayZ route and take some inspiration from that.
But I definitely want a return to the kind of gothic styled horror with hordes of slow shuffling zombies and limited ammo. And bring back puzzles and crazy people who have gone mad from the apocalypse like that guy in RE2 who won't come out of the shipping container. And definitely no more QTEs!!
I used to love the MOH series. Back when Frontline and Rising Sun came out they were my favorite games. Airborne was decent but even then it was beginning to go downhill. Its really sad to think that there won't be games like that to experience anymore.
Having said that, this kind of announcement was coming. The series has completely lost its way and has copied the latest trends without showing any real passion for the experience they create. Also I miss the WW2 games!
That does sound like a very harsh scene alright. But the worst thing is that this type of thing does go on in real life. I'm sure Guantanamo Bay is no stranger to the likes of what this scene portrays.
