As long as they go back to the old style gameplay from before assault horizon then this game will be great. Its a great series except for that one game.

If anything holds them back it will be their vastly reduced playerbase due to their anticonsumerist drm policy at the start of this generation. He should be more worried about looking inward to that self inflicted damage.

They seem to be crossing more into the fantastical territory with their recent updates. I always prefered gta to the likes of saints row because it always kept at least some link ro reality however tenuous but the line seems to have been crossed now. I just hope they dont go full on saints row with future games.

Definetly an interesting and unique gameplay mechanic but requiring multiplayer only will limit its audience a bit. Also if playing with randoms online there is the possibility for players to troll hard by sabotaging progress through the game from their side.

I saw the press conference and the game looks terrible. Woeful physics, no car damage that magically heals itself when a cutscene happens, cutscenes interupt gameplay constantly tearing away control from the player, graphics are average, ai cars litterally explode when they glance off the player car, etc... thats just a few issues off the top of my head.
