hi, my mic isn't working with any software but when i go to volume control and uncheck microphone mute box I can hear it my voice but still won't record with any program. It won't even record with the windows sound recorder.

any ideas why?

I have two questions really for anyone who has played Gears of War, cause I couldn't figure it out myself. Where are the Locust getting their leather from in Gears of War? I didn't see one damn cow in the game, and suppossedly the humans destroyed most of the planets surface so there's not many places to raise cattle there. Also, why the hell do the locust need motorcycles? They have those flying squid/tentacle creatures that can fly real fast, a lot faster then a motorcycle, and it makes no sense to ditch the squid/tentacle things for motorcycles.

Anyway, if you can clear this up that would be great.

The one remote to rule them all (tv and 360) has not worked. I went to xbox website and got all the rings..er codes and they didn't work. One by one they all failed, for the remote had a mind of its own and was too powerful. Who will aid me in this quest to finally be able to control the remote so that i can control the tv and the 360!
