@corte005 Actually, the ESRB description doesn't say anything about possibly offensive religious themes. Not that anyone actually reads those description before they play a game, at best they might look at the letter code.
If you are playing a game and cannot distinguish between the game and your reality, you should probably stop playing games. Unfortunately, the religious themes in the game aren't listed in the ESRB description, and should be, as religious themes are just as mature as the other things listed. Hopefully, by amending the ESRB description, Valve can avoid having to refund future complaints as knowing the religious content before purchase would preclude complaints about it.
I'm guessing this was caused by an 8 y/o kid playing the game, getting the trophy, and then parroting this off at the schoolyard. Of course, a teacher learns of this, contacts the parents of said kid, and the parents are aghast at the idea this video game was the source of such obscenity spewing from their precious child's mouth. yada yada yada, new patch.
So, because he had a spreadsheet listing previous mass murderers, he's a deranged video gamer? And I think the more likely reason he killed himself was he didn't want to deal with the consequences of his actions. Great police work!
Politicians destigmatize unethical behavior, such as lying for profit, or using your position of power to cheat on your spouse, or have anonymous airport glory holes.

There is a small percentage of psychos out there with no empathy and no conscience, and they are in all walks of life (gamers, politicians, grocers). Our gut reaction to one of these psychos misbehaving is to punish everyone (let's take away all games and all guns!), but the psychos remain. Until we can "cure" these psychotics, everything else we do is for nothing.
@alrepairs @visionedorange You seem to have a thing for babies, Al. Other than that, I have no idea what you are trying to get at with your one word responses.
Wow, this is still going on? I wouldn't want No Doubt to win simply on the precedent it would set. The user should be the one in control, if I want Gwen Stefani to play some Michael Jackson, then that's what I want. I don't care what No Doubt thinks. I paid a minimum of $100 to do it. If she didn't want to sell herself out for our entertainment, then she shouldn't be a professionally paid singer/entertainer.
