I see where you're coming from, and I truly respect that, but the reason why MS is giving these free games all of a sudden is that Sony seems to be the most popular for lending free games. Seriously, it's a great way to expand the library and nothing more. If someone else does something similar, people will just say it's like PS Plus. I haven't seen people go total ape sh*t over Microsoft copying it, because we know Sony popularized this. In a way, that actually helped Microsoft. We still don't know about the subscription levels when the PS4 comes out. I wouldn't mind paying for PSN as long as I get free content. Anyways, I want to point out there are pros and cons for each services (Xbox LIVE, PSN, what's Nintendo's?). I pay for Xbox LIVE, because the social experience is better, and I pay for PS Plus, because I get to play more games. Again, I respect your comment.

I don't know why people keep saying your paying $50 1 yr Gold but I only pay $29 1 yr Gold and if your paying that $50-60 then you are doing it wrong and if your going to pay Gold, do it for cheap. Back on topic, Since I never play Defense Grid, this is not a bad deal and I also never play Assassins Creed 2 so that's 2 games I'm looking forward to be playing. It's nice to see MS giving these free games out but it is no where near better then PS+ and it is well worth it.

Buy the Angry Birds Wii or Wii U version and get a free Ticket to go see Angry Birds Moive in Theatres. Now that's what I call a deal.
