If this is for next-gen only, then I don't see why they even mention Wii U unless it has the right engine to port it but I don't see that happening anytime soon. Let this be Dead Island 3 please.
I had a hard time entering this article Eddie but anyways, This collectors edition is not bad but flaying a Blimp, seriously RS? I would love to have my own private Jet please but none the less, I'm pre-ordering this at Gamestop ASAP.
Box come in, disc goes out, disc goes in console, disc comes out console, disc goes back in box, sits on the shelf for 3-6 months, then takes it to Gamestop for Pennies. [I don't sell my games mind you] Honestly I don't care what the box looks like as long as I get my game, I'm good.
So no more lending games to friends and family. What about Redbox? What about eBay?
On the plus side, yes GameStop may reduce the price of a used game, but they would also logically reduce the already low trade-in value.
It also doesn't sound like this only applies to playing a game online, i.e. Live Gold. If this turns out to be true it does not bode well for a console that already wasn't all that appealing to me to begin with (Unless Sony does something equally stupid).
At first I thought it was going to be a Death Note spin-off considering the art work shares some similar to Death Note. If Soul Sacrifice couldn't convince gamers to buy Vita, then they should just release it for both PS3 and Vita.
At this point, Iwata should try to improve the Wii U by making it into a true next-gen to be on par with Next Xbox and PS4 so that the developers can release there next-gen games on Wii U with no problem and the Wii U should support Frostbite engine so EA can't say crap and release some games for it.
