The lack of E3 was the problem from the start.

I'll tell ya what want wrong, Nintendo did a poor job at E3 2011 when they show Wii U for the first time but they only show the gamepad and not the whole system. Lack of solid details which it could have help. Back then, People were confuse as to what Nintnedo was thinking is this an add-on for Wii or this is just a gamepad for Wii? Nintendo just had bad E3 2 times and they are not good at E3 at all.
