Families buy the Wii, play Wii Sports, and never buy any games for it. Yeah, nintendo is getting money for the console, but not a high % of thier console owners are actually buying games, therefore Wii games get less sales, and developers won't make games for them. The wii is dominating is console sales, but not so much in game sales. If im wrong, please tell me, I don't want to be a moron here.CraigJK

Developers wont make games anymore? You must be living under a rock..or at least not no SW very often...or any other gaming site. Don't you hear about MAJOR game devs like Namco, Bandai, SquareEnix all ditching the PS3 and 360 and switching loyalties to the wii to make some quality titles? It's because the wii is selling better that it's attracting more games from major devs. Even Ubisoft promised better quality games for the wii.

If you're basing this solely on sales, then you have a point.

But most of us don't buy games because it's popular. We like the games. And unfortunately, the Wii is lacking in that department.

All it has going for it is its low price and, with very few exceptions, mini-game collections.

I think you're the one who can't escape the cold hard truth that MS and Sony are trying to be more and more like 'teh gimmicz' that nintendo has released.

As Wii trudges through a drought frightfully rememniscent of that of the gamecube (RE4 Wiimake is the only thing I'm playing right now... Still one of the greatest games of ALL TIME but...A last-gen title.), Nintendo sits on top of their old cloud of arrogance. IF PS3 drops it's price, Microsoft may do the same. IF Microsoft drops it's price 50 bucks for the core and premium, Nintendo loses its price competition. Hard-drive and qireless controller or not, 360 has some monster titles, and it's all about the games. The possible resultant 360 price drop would make Nintendo's price advantage seem alot less significant-- and while price was far from the ONLY that that has led to Nintendo's success, it'll start the regaining of ground against Ninty. Hopefully, Nintendo will choose to act and start actually planning to get a stream of decent titles throughout each fiscal year.... because if not, they're taking a step backward while the competition walks forward.

The wii is very VERY cheap to maufacture. People are saying pricing at $249.. is like robbery because Nintendo makes so much profit off of each wii sold. So if MS and Sony see a price drop, you bet your butt Nintendo will easily set the Wii to 199.99. Not to mention SSBB, SMG, and MP3:C will sell many systems. Nintendo depressing releases of childish mini game collections will sell consoles. Soul Calibur Legends, Manhunt 2 (IF IT FRIGGEN COMES OUT!) Dragon's Blade, Final Fantasy and other hardcore games will keep hardcore sheep buying games.

All we can say is the wii is looking good in terms of money money money..getting better in the game department.

Seriously why do people care so much about the story in a game? To me stories in a game are often pointless as you just want to get on with the next part but then this stupid thing makes you waste time on something you don't care about. Sure a good story can be nice but I think it really is overartted by some people here. I just think if you want a good story just read a book. The story in a book then a story in a gamemonkeysrfat

You're the worst kind of gamer. You will never get to enjoy classics like FF7, Chrono Trigger, KOTOR, just because they are 90% story driven.
