I'm not sure why companies and people in general just never look to the past and learn valuable lessons from it....
There is barely ANY time in gaming history that a peripheral was sold mid gen and it succeeded, no matter how revolutionary or evolutionary it was.
Heck Sony should've learned that lesson as recently as the Move controllers never really took off like Nintendo's Wii-mote which came included with the console.
If Sony really wanted this thing to take off then they should've waited until they could sell it with every PS5 console.
I remember back during the PS2 days when you couldn't rely on 3rd party devs to showcase the power of your system hence why the best graphical games tended to be first party developed games where the first party devs knew all the ins and outs of the systems and how to utilize it to its full capabilities without having to worry about specs limitations dealing with other systems
ohhhhhhhhhh boy..... lots of people's palm and wrist are gonna get a lot of workout from all the swivel action that's gonna be going down with this thing
