I have been looking around for some top RTS games I never played such as the topic as I'm not sure whether it would suit me as the only games I tried and love are SC, Warcraft,HoMM, DK, Rome:TW, Red Alert series.

How much difference is the gameplay between this two titles?

Starcraft 1 and 2, Age of Empires 1 and 2 (never like 3), Dune 2, Warcraft 1 and 3, Red Alert 1 -3, Rome:Total War, Heroes of Might and Magic 3, Dungeon Keeper 1 (2 not so tough), Command and Conquer. Thats all I can think of games I liked and played.

So a dual-core would be sustainable right? and how much watt do i need for this set-up 500Watts?

I'm building a desktop for my brother and his gonna be playing games like left 4 dead 2, cs:s, starcraft 2, football manager. So which CPU and GPU combination should i go for? Any suggestion and is being used on a 17 inch monitor. Thanks in advance
