After long thinking about it this what i'm going for

Phenom II X4 955/965
HD5870 (asus)
600Watt PSU (need recommendation on brands)
2x2 4GB DDR3 1600 (cheap brand)
Asus/Gigabyte 890GX motherboard
Samsung Spinpoint F3 500GB

Basically thats what i'm buiding what do you guys think about it and is this a complete set-up for non-OC user

I'm basically gonna use the desktop for gaming and this what combination I'm going either core i7 930 w/ HD5870Or amdphenom II X6 BE w/HD5870 or amd phenom II X4 955 w/ HD5850. The core i7 rework of the turbo boosteris a plus for me however not sure aboutthe phenomII X6 BEwhole system set up price compare to core i7 930 and i seen some benchmarks and certain field for the phenom II X6 BE seems to win compare to core i7 930or vice verse but haven't seen any benchmarks for games yet. So I just need to know which should I go for the Server families of both company or just phenom II X4 955? I wouldn't be overclocking itanytime soon on any part and one more question is the USB 3.0 worth getting? I'm gonna play this games in future which is diablo3, starcraft 2 and some FPS games like MW2,Ghost Recon:Future Soldiersand Borderlands. Thanks with regards.

Guess Phenom would be my best bet cuz i play mostly games and cheaper and same par lvl with intel. Thx with all the helps.

Sorry for the late reply but was wowndering the Samsung HDD is in on the same par with the WD Black Caviar or similar? What do you think about core i7 930(Due in March 2010) compare to Phenom II X4 940 for user like me who doesn't overclock but find that the efficient automatic clocking would helps.

Hi I been wanting to get the USB 3.0 and was wondering any improvement made forHDD itself which cope with the USB 3.0 speeds? The HDD Western Digital Black Caviar was good so just wanted to know any new series of HDD introduce other than the SDD's.
So basically I'm not into overclock not dual GPU set ups but I heard about turbo booster from Intel which automatically clock itself for efficiencyaccording to usage but here's what I'm looking for a quad core and been looking at the HD5850or GTX275. Further is that I been trying to find a good PSU, HDD and just wanna know do i need those expensive case or a case likeAntec 300 will do.

I'm playing below the 1600 resolution and need listen to advice on which setup intel/amd or intel/nvidia or amd/ati. Guess playing games would be most intensely used by me. The budget would be around 950 just for the desktop and would like some suggestion on some monitors. The machine I would be used for 4years or more.
