so i just saw american gangster finally yesterday and boy was it f'in sweet. but whether u thot so or not is to be debated elsewhere.

i was just curious if anyone knew whether frank was a junkie himself or not. the way denzel acted it seemed like he never touched anything ever...but of course such is the way that movie's always distort certain details. i tried googling this and everything is only focused on his trafficking.

i dont know much about this kinda stuff in general, im assuming practically all dealers are junkies themselves. so i wud have thot they wud have included that detail in the movie. anyone know?

i havent seen the movie but i was curious to see it, we JUST read the book in english recently so it shud be interesting for me to see how accurate it is. regardless if its entertaining good enough for me. i might check its rottentomato review right now.

i havent noticed a guitar hero inspired trend, but i may just not be observant enough. i just picked up guitar i think just cuz it stands out the most and appeals to u.

now in fact, i really wish i could also play the bass. im very influenced by rhcp, and i fell in love with frusciante but now after seeing how flea's bass lines come into play and how truly awsome they are id love to be able to play bass.

i just randomly off the top of my head wanted to know this. my brother was telling me he wanted a jersey for christmas and i said "why, there so cheap and u can get em any time"

I've JUST started out. My one friend showed me the works and I find it pretty interesting, although the only thing I can play is the Super Mario Bros. Theme :P. Once I get the hang of it more and start to get to the harder stuff...who knows...:)doom3kjc

pffft if the best thing u can play is super mario bros u might as well give up...

haha jk. yea it will become second nature, playing combinations of frets in particular patterns will become second nature once u do it enough, eventually u wont have to even look down at the fretboard that much.

just make sure u practice a lot.

to tell u the truth, they only have to be hardened for acoustic, at least in my experience. but it does help for sure.
