The funny thing is that the things about XBL that are better than PSN you can get with a silver membership! Hardly justifies the price does it?

I am starting to think Cows are forgetting the price of the PS3 when it release, the Vita's price, the price for Vita storage cards, and the simple fact that Microsoft has created a service that we do not mind paying for because t is worth it. If we pay $60 or $20 for a years service why do you care? How does it effect you at all? It doesn't. But when I am in a party on a game of Reach or whatever with several friends, some who are in college or whatever you realize the money you spend is more than worth it. $4 a month max to have a perfect online set-up where several friends can play games together or chat while we play separate games? It is like Cows are grasping for straws trying to find anything these days to make Lemmings feel their 360 is not worth it to them. You are not even close to realizing the truth. For me the 360 has the best exclusives, the best arcade games that are as good as retail games and only a 1/4 of the price, I have not even mentioned Dance Central which has became a big hit on the weekend at my house, and also a back log of games from the neo-geo for example or the original Soull Calibur on the Dreamcast that the PS3 does not have as well. PSN can't touch XBL. And not only is it because of the games and options it is because it is a better overall social tool for people with a lot of friends who like different games and are in different places and times in their lives. XBL brings us all together. That is worth more than money to me. So don't come in here trying to say the XBL service is a joke and this and that.. What might not be of use to you might mean the world to someone else.

No. Not the same at all really. I don' think PSN is near as bad as Lemmings say it is but XBL is better in every way. It would be worth it to me to pay the $60 and get the chat options, the speed of installs, and the hard drive room. When I had a PS3 those installs would piss me off because it took forever and it happened so much. For the record I got rid of it because of the credit card problem. I was one of the lucky ones who got their info stolen. I got around $200 charged to my card on PSN plus they used it at a store called Game Haven. I liked it and some of the exclusives but not enough to care if I had it or not. The 360 is something I would have to have.

Don't pull the info stolen card. It's pathetic. Because that has nothing to with the service. Sony and PSN just happened to be the target . It could just as easily have happened to the 360. Wasn't Sony's fault. They were just unlucky enough to be the target. If they had wanted to do the same thing to the 360, they could have. Solution? Don't put your card details on there! You can easily fund you PSN wallet with prepaid cards you can get in stores. Getting rid of your PS3 because of that is just plain stupid. All you had to do was not use your credit card for purchasing stuff on PSN. Simple.

Oh, and I also own both systems. I quickly learned that the differences in the service are minimal and it was just plain retarded of me to keep paying for XBL when I had a PS3. I pretty much never use my 360 now in general. The PS3 is so much better it isn't even funny. Its only saving grace is the XBLA games.

I am gonna pull the stolen card because it happened. Plus it had everything to do with the service because the service and Sony failed. That was the dumbest commet you have made so far. How in the hell can you say the service had nothing to do with it? You would not be happy if it happened to you either. And the reason I got rid of the PS3 was justified.

And I would not pay for XBL either if I had a PS3 and friends who played online with it. But my friends have 360's so it was worth it to do so. Sorry. If you wanna think the PS3 is so much better than that is your opinion. I did not try to sway it at anytime. But if you wanna pretend PSN is better than XBL then you are just either in denial or you are taking the Cow route of anything Microsoft does is inferior because we are on System Wars.

i think people didn't realize this was one giant sarcastic thread to show how stupid xbox live supporters sound...

but on the other end, as an owner of both systems, the live experience is far better, between the better update packages, higher quality voice chat supported by all games, better connectivity (even with p2p), better bandwidth for downloads.. for as little as $60 year its a far better option than deal with psn,it would be better free but thats not an option right now.

Why would you pay $60 for it? There are deals every month and a lot of times it comes with perks like points or free games. I think the most I have paid for it after thr first few years was maybe $30. There is no reason to pay full price when Microsoft has sales on it 6 or 7 times a year.

For the fun of it I just downloaded and played Vanquish again since I can complare it to Max Payne 3. Yep. I am sure of it. Max Payne 3 is worlds better. Vanquish deserved to be a bargain bin title a month after it was released and that is exactly what happened. It is a rental at best.

XBL is a little better integrated though, things like updates are faster ect....but that doesn't justify the purcahse. Especially because Silver members get that for free.

live also has a lot more built in functionality, thats why cross game voice chat works, where voice chat for psn is built into it per game. M$'s online infrastructure is far better and easier one dev's, we get a more consistent quality across games and inclusion of features.

That dude is a moron. He refuses to believe something written in front of him. He will claim Skyrim on the PS3 is the same as the 360 til his testicles turn blue and fall off. Even Cows think he is to far gone. I would ignore him.

I was disappointed with Max Payne 3 and still prefer it over Vanquish. I don't get why people like that game. I loved how smooth the movements were and the speed of the game but it grew old quick. All it was is shoot, cover, shoot, slide, smoke, repeat. Story was pathetic, the game graphis got old since they never changed, and the Lost Planet shoot the orange on every boss is overdone. There is a reason it dropped to $20 in a month. It is an average game at best. But to be fair Mx Payne 3 isn't much better.

Well we would have to play them to give you that opinion. I hated Journey. Could not stand it. One man, on one review site, with his opinion does nothing for me. I liked Flower, I love Wipeout HD............But I hated Journey. In my opinion FEZ and Trials destroys Journey. Now....Have you played Trials EVO and FEZ?

I have played FEZ. It bored me. it reminded me of a 8 bit version of crush which also bored me. I must admit I haven't haven't played trials.

Well I respect your opinion. See man. Isn't it better to have an actual conversation than doing the BS people on here normally do? Anyways you should try Trials Evo if you get a chance. I just don't like people who trash a game that has never played it. I had an argument with a guy or girl names tenaka. I think he is a PC gamer. He was just trashing the hell out of Halo 4 and the new XBLA summer games and then admitted he never played them. I realize this is SW but at least play the stuff first before you trash it. I won't trash Motorstorm for example even though it isn't on 360. I liked it to much. Just like I really liked infamous 2. But I did not like Little Big Planet or GT5 so I will trash them every chance I get. Also- Devs do read these forums. I will give credit where it is do. But I am sure most devs laughed at this place years ago......
