It's not useless for movies. It's the limited power of console platforms that logically makes it more difficult to render 2 streams simultaneously. It's common knowledge that 3D offers an inferior picture
That's why it's a useless tech for TV's, you can get better looking panels with more detail if you don't water it down for 3D

[QUOTE="Mestitia"][QUOTE="Lord_Omikron666"]How do you figure? The PS3 is selling more then the 360, just because the 360 is ahead in total sales doesn't change that.Because the 360 is still ahead. When the PS3 actually passes the 360, then we can talk. Outselling is the present tense of what it's doing. The fact remains, the PS3 IS outselling the Xbox 360.How about it technically isn't. :|

[QUOTE="dgsag"][QUOTE="Mystic-G"] List eleven notable games in the same genre this year that equals up to 10. Mystic-G
Mass Effect 2, Dragon Age Origins: Awakening, Final Fantasy XIII, Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver, Alpha Protocol, Fallout: New Vegas, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Dragon Quest IX, Two Worlds II, Arcania: A Gothic Tale, etc. I haven't even started listing the MMOs. :) I could probably do the same with the RTS and action-adventure genre.
DA:O is a expansion pack, not considered a game. And yes standalone expansions are different as they don't require buying the previous installment. That's like me saying I bought 3 games instead of saying I bought WoW and the expansions. I'll let Pokemon slide because it does sell (somehow) still. FFXIII Versus doesn't even have a set release date for 2010 and the way they discussed it, it doesn't sound like it'll even make it this year. I never heard of Two Worlds II and Arcania but ok... I thought we were discussing platforms and not handhelds.Does Rage have a set 2010 release date?
[QUOTE="dgsag"][QUOTE="Mystic-G"] And to that I say... 2010 - MAG, Metro 2033, Bad Company 2, Crysis 2, Medal of Honor, RAGE, Halo Reach, Call of Duty.
And that doesn't even include Tactical Intervention (spiritual sequel to Counter Strike) or Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead (standalone expansion) or the many other third-person shooters coming out. (still pew pew)

Yes, lets put everything with guns under the genre of FPS. How narrow-minded can one be?
You listed ten FPS games for this entire year. I've already listed eleven non-FPS games from the past four months.

I don't agree with the OP. Just look at the past few months. How many FPS games were released? Four, five? The only notable ones that I can remember are MAG, Aliens vs Predator, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, and Metro 2033.
On the other hand, 2010 has already seen the release of Bayonetta, Mass Effect 2, Napoleon: Total War, Heavy Rain, Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War II: Chaos Rising, Supreme Commander 2, Dragon Age Origins: Awakening, Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver, Final Fantasy XIII, God of War III, Splinter Cell: Conviction, and more.
