That's probably because the PS4 fanboys are more defensive since the console is so dated.

That really shows your maturity. You sir, are better than ANY ps4 fanboy. Congratulations.

yes I allow him to play M rated games, I grew up seeing worse things than a game in the news ( like the Nicaraguan revolution ) and I didn't turn into a blood thirsty psychosociopath.

Damn right.

OT; you buy him a 360, you are buying him an outdated console. Sure, there is a lot games on it, but all the new ones are being made for the xbox one.

Yes you can. Although when you are overwhelmed by enemies, it helps a lot.

This is a game that takes some thinking, and tweaking on the characters abilities, strategies etc I think it falls under the category of tactical RPG.

Definitely sexist.

What world do we live in, where there is not ONE WNBA videogame to be played by women? DISGUSTING!

Gameplay doesn't tell Stories,

Strip away everything from Brothers thats got nothing to do with gameplay and theres no plot. Replace Mario with a Rat and the Princess with a Cheeseburger and you have the exact same game with the exact same gameplay telling a different story.

And like I said before in order to be told a story you gotta sit still and listen.... Gameplay demand the exact opposite, it requires input from its audience.

Like LULU said, gameplay does't not tell a story. It may contribute to it, but no, it's not telling a story.

@thedude you are over thinking, over analazying and over complicating something really simple.

@firefox59: You are right. Perfect example is Mario. It's PG, aimed both at children and adults.

My point is that nintendo does not invest in a game that is not PG, because they think most of their audience rather have a PG rated game. ...and it's true.

Why do you think games like dragon age and GTAV are not on the wii U?

@Lulu_Lulu: Exactly.

You didn't make much of a point with that post though.

I love "snapping" lol Skyping and playing a game at the same time is an awesome feature!

I don't mind the UI. I only hate their store. It can be hard to find a game if it's not in the front page.

Overall I don't regret one bit buying my xbox one. Going to pick up forza whenever it's on sale, and looking forward to their 2015 releases, and exclusives.

@Lulu_Lulu: I agree. ...but my point still stands. Most of their games are PG. They are aiming at that audience, and they spend most of their resources on gameplay. Again, that is not a bad thing.

As for others making games with gore etc JUST to appeal to mature games, I think that is not true. It's just an art choice.

Here is an example:

The torture scene in GTAV would NOT have had the same effect if there was no gore. Trevor killing that biker when he was first presented would not have the same effect without the gore.

Developers, artists etc don't put gore on games, art pieces, movies just so adults can say "Holy shit, that game is so mature!"

No, it's there for a reason.

@thedude-: tells a story through gameplay?

How?

Let's not bullshit ourselves. Nintendo is what it is. They are making mostly pg rated games, fun to play, a little bit of backstory but not much else. It's not a bad thing.
