@CashPrizes: No GamePass though....Which might be a better deal for the people he is talking about (those who are not able to allocate money for both a PC and a PS5).
@Terminator95: Maybe I didn't explain myself properly, we have mostly gamed and bought PS for the last 20 years when it comes to consoles. And gamed on PC for Grand Strategy, RTS, WoW, LoL, and a few FPS. Not all of us have had Xbox consoles but with GamePass we all (which I know it is not many, just 5 people for the most part) agree that GP is the way to go for the next couple of years. I am not saying there is anything wrong with PS5 or that buying a Series X is a must.
All I was trying to do was expand on your comment that while it is a fact that all Xbox Games are coming to PC, such decision is not necessarily a downside but instead aligned with MS strategy to focus on selling subscriptions instead of consoles...probably following the exact numbers you posted.
@Terminator95: Which is exactly the point...or so I think. It looks like MS wants GamePass to be the best option to play games on PC. And if you are interested in a powerful console, then they sell you one where, once again, the best way to play all those games is through a GP subscription. I, for one, will buy a PS5 at some point down the road, when the majority of their exclusives are 20 dollars or so (or Bloodborne 2 happens), but for now, I will allocate 15 dollars a month for GamePass Ultimate and play mostly on my PC. For the first time, me and my gaming friends agree that MS with GamePass is the way to go for now.
@Pierce_Sparrow: I see your point, but what I am trying to say is that for some of us, there was no need to kill or drive to kill anybody else but Abby. No need to "commit all the other murder", or pile up bodies..just Abby's. But that's not the story ND wanted to tell and thats ok I guess, they needed it that way.
@Pierce_Sparrow: How are those players bloodthirsty? For the most part they just want to kill Abby. I would have been fine with Ellie skipping every dog and person in between her and Abby, then kill her and not kill any single person in the rest of the game. The issue for me at least, is that I get to kill a lot of people I didn't want to just to reach the only one I really wanted to and then be denied of it. Sure that's what ND wanted us to experience, and sure there were some really beautiful flashbacks with Joel...but personally, I didn't enjoy the game. I wish I did, I am glad for all of those who do though...
@kutraz: I know I am not the one you are replying to, but wouldn't this mean he is right? The development of The Scorn and The Medium on Series X are not affected at all by the limitations of previous hardware because they are not even developing those games for it? Just curious...
@mogan: i love big strategy, Stellaris and Imperator are the ones I have played the most. I am intrigued by Planetfall but I think i will give Warhammer a shot first then.
