Is there any way to connect your Wii to the same screen you use for the PC? What kind of output does the Wii have? I have heard there is some solution but I'm not sure.

So you can't back up anything? You have to have access to the internet if it happens and download everything again?

Is there any way to ge the games you have downloaded from PSN stored on anything else than the PS3 Hard drive? Like some external memory or something. If not, what do you do when the hard drive is about to give up on you?

If you use your PC often why not upgrade it to play games?

skrat_01

Yes, this is what I'm considering. I'm questioning why I should spend money ($850 where I live) on a console that offers me pretty much the same when it comes to games. I don't know why some people complain about the Wii. If any consoleoffers something a bit different it's the Wii, if you like it is another question. It's almost cheap too, not quite though.

The thing is, in the end I most have access to the internet so a PC seems like a most, and if the games I want to play can be played on a PC aswell as on a PS3, 360 I don't see the point in spending the money on all this stuff.

OK, that is what I suspected. They tried a little too hard with these consoles, for that's what they are after all, video game consoles.

I have been thinking about either getting a new PC or spending the money on a PS3 some tme in the near future. The thing is I feel that it is kind of questionable to have both a good PC AND a PS3 (or an xbox360 for that matter) given that they pretty much offer the some thing, at least when it comes to games.

There are exclusives, I know that of course. I am not obsessed with any franchise and I am not in to Japanese RPGs by the way. The PC I have now is mostly for the internet and if I have understood it right you can get out on the internet with a PS3 too, but I am not sure how functional it is.

I guess what I'm getting at is that they are essentially trying too much to do the same thing as the PC with these new consoles. So what I really want to know is if I can get around having both a PC AND one of these new consoles if you want to play some new games and do the usal stuff on the internet? These things cost quite a bit these days.

Thanks for reading.
