i still don't have any games for PS3, so i lent my old PS2 headset to manny so he can talk in Resistance. its wired, goes all the way around your head, and all the way down to your mouth. that's why i was so surprised when manny offered to trade me for his little bluetooth warkhawk headset. of course i traded, i just feel like i ripped him off, but he wanted to trade. i guess it didn't really fit right on his ear. either way, we're both better off. :P

yep, last time i tried, i failed, and i was banned to take the test again for a year, not by the registry, but by my dad. i don't what the reasoning is, i just had to wait. so finally i tried again, got 26/30, good enuff to pass. yeah, great until i find out i'll prob be paying for some of my parents insurance bill nowsince im drivingtheir cars. that would cut off all other purchases in my life, games, tvs, computers, food, clothes. maybe i should have waited longer. :?

just got back from a week in kelowna. my family doesn't do a lot on vacation, but it was nice just relaxing on the beach, cuz that's pretty much all we did. it was hot all week, got a good tan. it poured buckets tho on both trips. 10 hrs of hydro-planing wasn't the funnest, but im back, and its all good. 8)

once again, Yellowbird emerges vicotrious as the Provincial Champions. 1st in the league, 1st in cities. It's weird how provincials were only a round robin this year. anyways we won our first 2 games 5-1 and 8-2. All we needed to do in the last game was win or tie to take home the gold. it was definatley a tuff game. it was held at 0's for the first half. early 2nd half a defender stops the ball from going in the net with his hands! red card and PK. fostman steps up to take the kick, oh man it's a lot of pressure. fostman's usual perfect penalty kick is saved miraculously by the keeper. at least they're a man down, and we start dominating. all chances in their end. it was an amazing feeling. i had so much adrenaline, i was in rage/try hard mode. i knew no pain and we all played hard. late in the game el boro sends a beautiful ball over the goalies head with his left foot and it justcurls in! we hold strong for the end of the game and walk away with the gold. great season boys, lets go for a treepeat in indoor! 8)

yes i have bought a PS3, no i havn't bought any games. i mainly wanted to snatch a 60GB before they were discontinued. although i probably could muster up enuff cash to buy Resistance, i'm not sure if i will. as formentioned in my previous blog, my money situation has become even more tuff. if i don't have enuff money to buy MGS4 and Army of Two in November, i'll be kickin' myself. we'll see how it goes.

finally, summer school has drawn to an end. 4 weeks of early mornings, boring classes and mountains of homework. but now it's done, i finished with 90% and i have a spare next year! i dont think i'll be taking summer school ever again.

finally, i can pride myself in owning all 3 next gen. consoles. i was hardly allowed to game until boxing day 2006, when i picked up my XBOX 360 on sale. soon after i had to pick up my WII, feb. 15. now the day has come, july 23, 2007 when the PS3, lord of all consoles enters my domain. i own no PS3 games, it's not set up yet, but it is my favorite already. i picked it up at best buy, and got a free blu-ray movie (M:I:III, didn't have apocalypto) since they were matching future shop's advertisement. i also picked up a NYKO intercooler. i have one for my 360 as well, it keeps things cool and healthy. speaking of healthy, im now keeping all my consoles on their sides to prolong life. getting the PS3 wasn't all dandy however, as you coulda guessed my parents had a quite extreme opinion. in order to purchase the PS3, my time spent on computer, tv, gamin' etc.is limited (A LOT). and i won't be buying anymroe consoles or HDTV's or anything like that for the next 2 years. and my mom wants to check all my games to ensure appropriateness. it's harsh, but what can i do. in fact, i'm goin' to play PS3 right now, so later! 8)

what a coincidence this morning. me and dex were biking to school like we always do. we were crossing a not-busy road, so i was going pretty fast. there was that little sloped part of the sidewalk corner, but only room for one bike, so dex took that and i had to go up the curb, no problem. i do it all the time. this one feels extra big tho, holy smokes. i look down and my back tire/tube has fallen right off my rim! i stop and dex rolls up beside me. oh man. i'm about to call my dad for a ride, do you hear something? i lean down to dex's front tire, and it's leaking! both our tires popped at the same time! so we got a ride from my dad and hopefully we will be able to fix them by tomorrow. :?

i think the new gamespot website facelift looks great. its sharp, easy to navigate and friendlyto the eye. the badges given to games, amazing. one of the best idea's i've seen in a while. the 0.5 rating, though, i can understand that they're trying to take the focus off the score and more on the game mechanics, but i think it will bring good games down or bad games up too much. 2 games might have gotten 9.3 and 9.8, but they will both be scored as 9.5. maybe 0.2 increments would be good. the rest is nice! ;)

so yesterday i had my big party. every year it serves as a nice year end celebration and my birthday party. it was great, i invited a whole lotta my friends, about 30 in total, guys and girls. only about 20 showed up, but it was ok. but guess who else showed up, 10 of my sisters friends. happens every year, well if beav gets a party then so do i! she pleas to my parents. my parents said it was practical since i had an astro jump this year, but it happened the past few years when i had nothing too. so all these little jr. high's were running around being gay but at least we had the astro jump. all 20 of us would pile in, wrestle, whip the rubber balls around, and play the monster game. you tip the A.J. and bury the monster, while he/she closes their eyes and tries to rough someone else up. when cake time rolled around there was another secret surprise. under 5 pieces of cake were chocolate loonies, and those 5 were now in an ice cream eating contest. it was tyo, call, d-marc, krawch and some jr. high guy. oh man it wasn't even close, tyo horked and it was over within 30 seconds. he won 2 movie passes, then we continued. time for a new game. while most of us were chillin' inside the A.J, a few guys thot it would be funny to climb up on top and crush everyone, well we had some news for them. we just kept feedin' 'em, drop kicks and jabs and body checks. it was a full out rumble on either side of the wall. while the jr. high's got their turn in the A.J, we amused our self with tackle football. the girls were right in it, but it wasn't long until they were knocked right out. fostman hammered jilldon, and it was amazing when mc-ma-hoon layed out grego. so it was fun, ended off the school year. :D
