@mrbojangles25: I agree that not every game is being ruined by wokeness; some of them just suck. But the basis for DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) is to be a determining metric for ESG (environmental, social, and governance); basically a social credit score for investment groups to determine what companies they push. It's disgusting. Not only is it disregarding the will of the people, but these few companies (Blackrock, Vanguard, State Street, etc) can control which businesses succeed or fail. By not complying with their desires, a business will receive a hit to their ESG score, and be less likely to get pushed as a good investment by Blackrock and the like. They can control the game, and that's insane.
Not only that, but I've been applying to jobs for almost 6 months now, and every one of them has had some section about what form of disability I have. And a lot of them force you to say you have one, because they are in cahoots with the government, and are requiring that a sizeable percentage of their workforce be people with disabilities. Plus, they get a tax credit for hiring them. That's a huge part of hiring on weakness and not strength. Its also a way for government employees to get jobs that don't need. Create a problem, and say they are the only ones that can fix it. Just like all the money wasted on the government employees hired to fix the homeless problems in big cities. They have an incentive not to fix the problem. Because if they did, they would be out of a job. Its nothing new.
I don't know how much you've looked into this stuff, but judging by your "DIY or FYI" comment, you either don't know, or are being actively deceptive. I honestly don't believe it's the latter. I think you're honest and good dude, but on this matter, I think you're wrong. But to be fair, I don't necessarily have any hard facts on a lot of this stuff. Just a bunch of anecdotal evidence. Still, it seems reasonable to assume fire with this much smoke. If you haven't, I would suggest a little research into Larry Fink and Klaus Schwab. Also, look at the biggest investors for random companies. You'll be surprised how many of them are the three I mentioned earlier. Oh, and they're buying all the houses too. This is the action of the "you'll own nothing and be happy about it".
As for the game 😁, I've never played DA, and this just looks like a teenage version of a Fisher Price toy. Throw in some overused Guardians of the Galaxy humor, a bunch of purple, and you have the gen z formula. Toss in a mtx dress up simulator for bonus riz!
