@bluzima: 1 - how people spend money it's not anyones problem
2 - i assure you that all the people that spend on trading cards eand stuff DO play games. Sure there are a few that only collect stuff but they aren't so many and it's they'r problem
3 - It's a very personal choice. I really love the possibility of achievement outside of games, forums and other features! If I have steam with lots of features, and Epic with none, why would I pay the SAME price for less features?!
4 - It's not about loyalty. it's about epic being a giant d**k!
@Reuwsaat:Well... I that period I didn't exactly buy games, or software, or music....
Also I'm talking about the more recent history of the company and the stuff I cared about, otherwise i will have talked about the DESASTROUS XB1 DRM launch... how much are payed those guys from PR exactly?!
@phili878: From what I understood the deal with Epic was signed by take 2 (well private division) and AFTER that deal MS bought obsidian so they aren't at fault.
Of course if I'm wrong I will have 2 reasons to hate MS (the first one being that they screw Windows Mobile) like the stupid idiots they are!
Anyway... yup. We'll play the game in 1 year! But to look on the bright side: in one year I'll spend 10-25 Euros for it, NOT 60 like i would now :P
you ruined basically all the companies (westwood, bullfrog, maxix, bioware -> not completely ruined but going there etc) you bought and ruined franches
you have a LOT of DLCs just to make more money
you launch incomplete games (lots of bugs and missing features (see DLCs policy)
you have a LOOOOOT of microtransactions... sorry "surprise mechanics"
you lied to the governments in hope they will not ban/tax microtransactions
there are rumours that you overwork employees (that's just a rumos so I will not take this into considerations, anyway i have more than enough for my conclusion):
please tell me EA which of this points doesn't make you a bad company?! we perceive you as a bad company because the things you do make you a bad company! you, activision, epic, bethesda unfortunately (really loved skyrim, oblivion, morrowind...)
i love the elder scrolls series... so I said: ok, let me try TES Online... after 2-3 years of trying and trying to like the game... well... i uninstalled it! Single player games have better story, have mods and well.... i can go to work, leave the game for one month and continue where i left off... online games require too much talking to other playters... which it's nice when you are 15, but it's shit when you are 30 and have a job, wife etc etc
@Vojtass: you do realize that with the new game engines that are cross platform, nobody will make exclusive [name your platform here] games anymore, if they are not payed to do so...
also PC has advantages like... mods and stuff.
It's a marketing decision... why do something only for pc/ xbox / ps4 if I can do that for multiple platforms and earn much more money
