ok cant find the update u were on bout, must b on internet sumwhere though

the 2 cards i was on about, they seem pretty good deals to me, im leaning towards the first one because its £10 dearer but has higher clock speeds

http://www.overclock.co.uk/product/Gigabyte-nVidia-GeForce-8800GT-512MB-DDR3-Zalman-Fan-700MHz-GPU-Dual-DVITV-Out-PCI-E,-Retail_6037.html (but around £140)

http://www.overclock.co.uk/product/Asus-nVidia-GeForce-8800GT-512MB-DDR3-Dual-DVITV-Out-PCI-E,-Retail_4165.html (something similar to this, around £130)

although im doubting if the 1st one fits in my case

haha yep i no that, i have the latest drivers so cant be that, just wierd that i got the green bar from all the systemrquirments sites sayin i culd run it, damn internet

if i go buy a new gfx card will i lose my warrenty on the pc wen i put the new card in? i got a years free waranty from dell atm which came standard with new pc

also, i have a new poer supply so that is not an issure, but i a have found this graphics card 'Gigabyte NVidia GeForce 8800GT 512MB 8800 GT Turbo'

will this fit in my dell inspiron 531?

if not, am i better to go with 'NVidia GeForce 8800GT 8800 GT 512MB PCI-E Grapics Card' which has 100mhz slower gpu and memory speed?

atitool never seems to finish for me, i click 'find max core' or find max mem and both seem to run for in excess of 12 hours without finishing, or it stops responding so ive given up on it

im currently using riva tuner but that doesnt give a recommended max

ok cheers, my pc blitzes everything except gfx card where it scrapes through so i'll have a look at how the games play when they arrive, could be interesting figuring out which settings will give me best performance without frying anything

Since i am not sure entirely how gfx cards r rated i usualyl check this website to see if it thinks my pc can run games

http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srl

many games like cod4, gow and others it says i meet and surpass the recommended requirements for the games, so is this completely accurate or is it likely to give me false answers at all?

amd athlon 64x2 dual core5600+ 2813mhz

2gb ddr2 ram

vista home

nvidia geforce 8300gs

score rated me as 1040 3dmarks, and i maxed out at 4.5fps, seems a bit low, is it the gfx card letting me down?
