Ok so your next question is if any HDMI cable with do ... Yes it should. It seems you can't even find 1.1 cables anymore. You can still purchase 1.2 cables and they are cheaper than the 1.3 cables(the latest version of HDMI). If you can find a 1.2 cable and you just us it for your Xbox that will be fine.my_mortal_coil

You are confusing the HDMI standards; i.e., 1.1, 1.2, 1.3x, and these have little to do with the cable itself. HDMI LLC specifies either standard speed or high speed cables. Standard speed supports up to 1080i while high speed supports up to 1080p.

Today, if I'm going to spend $40-$60 on a game, I want to finish it, and not get stuck on some frustrating jump that takes weeks to get over, just then to die a second later and have to start all over! So it is fine with me that games are getting easier!

I never heard of these people so now I will have to go watch these videos to judge for myself. As to the comments about Trixie 360 I had to go look up her pics on Google. Yes, she is not the cutest thing on earth but I have seen worse.

It is always funny to see people trash another person's looks while hiding behind the anonymity of a screen name. Post your own pics so we can make fun of you, but I already know what the results would be...

I second that notion. If I am allowed to be presumptuous the mods would sticky a general thread for similar topics. No sense in complaining that everyone else should start posting a variet of topics when you do not take your own advice. 8)

Depends on how big your TV is/How far away from it you sit.

Look at this:

Where did you get this graph? It would come in handy for my line of work.

Yikes. A Vista setting? I am not sure because I still use XP and refuse to downgrade to Vista. It would be nice to be able to go back to XP so you can troubleshoot differences with Vista and XP.

I can tell you that my connection works fine and it sounds like you had the same connection before the downgrade to Vista. I have my PC connected wirelessly to my router, XBOX connected to my router, and then the router connected to the cable modem up to the Internets.

Rented it tried it HATE IT! I'm forever going to be a tekken and Mortal Kombat fan

TOADSTOOLTOUR23

I think the gameplay (character balance, combo variety), graphics and audio are great for SFIV. The only thing that irritates me is the XBL setup; I get too many unable to play, room filled messages. Tekken has been a good series as well, but the last Tekken game I played was Tekken 3.

But Mortal Kombat, what are you serious? Certainly not the garbage of a game called MK vs. DC. Mortal Kombat was a good series, but again I have to admit that there has been a large gap since I last played MK: UMK3 in the arcarde to MK vs. DC. Sorry, the lastest iteration is trash.

I think the consensus is the D-pad is laughably disgusting. The analog stick is not too bad, but I have trouble with blocking. I pull down and back, but the analog stick is too sensitive because you do not need 360 degrees of motion with SFIV. I have to keep reminding myself to push the stick a little more to the left or right when pressing down. I would say 7/10 for the normal controller when using the analog stick. I am planning on getting a stick though since that is the only way fighting games are meant to be played IMHO.

Sega Genesis:
o Signal/Noise Ratio: 14dB

BobSacamento

Funny how there are all these specs for the Genesis, but the above in particular is worthless. SNR needs to be refered to a stated signal amplitude.

I think it was obvious to most people at the hieght of Genesis vs. SNES that the Genesis had the edge for pure processing power in terms of speed. The SNES had better graphics and sound. Pick your poison!

Blaster Master on NES. I can make it to the last level, but run out of steam because of the difficulty: spikes eveyrwhere, takes a few hours just to get there and no saves, so I give up.

TMNT on NES. I can make it ever so close to Shredder inside the Technodrome, but have my ass handed to me by the laser jet-pack guys.

Castlevania on the NES. I made it once to Dracula. Ridiculous.
