As much as I want to completely agree with him, I can't. I have a lot of fun playing some games that he hates so much.. I think that there is room for both. At the end of the day though, games need to make money in order to be successful. In cases of games like Journey, there is proof that you can be both commercially and critically successful.
I hope Cage's next game really knocks it out of the park as he never misses a chance to tell other people how important he is. In the back of my mind though, I think he is just one flop away from being irrelevant.
If it get above 80, I will be happy. That's kind of my own personal threshold on where I would maybe try games that I normally wouldn't. I agree that all the games being above 90 shows just how great the series is. At the same time, it also highlights where this one stands in relation to them.
