[QUOTE="JangoWuzHere"]

[QUOTE="Toxic-Seahorse"] How? It's not even the best looking game out. I loved The Witcher 2, but in no way was it visually groundbreaking.Toxic-Seahorse

I can't think of a better looking game then The Witcher 2.

Well Crysis 2 with the DX 11 patch and the high res textures is the technically best looking game out right now. I think even Metro 2033 beats the Witcher 2 in terms of graphics. The Wticher 2's artstyle is great though.

If anything I found Metro to be more impressive graphically than Crysis 2 even with mods. The game is simply outstanding looking, only the character models are less than top notch! Wowed me time and time again!

Fear 1 and its expansions are awesome....get them for sure! Even Perseus Mandate which is a little rough round the edges is also great. Fear 2 despite what alot of people say is also a great great game! Not as good as the first game, but I still really enjoyed it. I really dont understand the hate it gets! Fear 3 on the other hand sucks, the game is basically a slow paced, garbage, call of duty clone and is NO where near as good as the first two. Massive disappointment. I didnt play it in co-op though so perhaps that may redeem it somewhat...

Stop arguing over a massively distant last place! Its beyond pointless! Im just back from playing Metro 2033 maxed on pc and there's demon faeces with a higher level of detail than any of those screen shots!

Lol, NO console game would implement a true PC-like aim system.

EVERY developer says they add some measure of aim aists, even if turned all the way "off". And the hit boxes on consoles are larger than PC, they also mess with the AI to make it eaSier to hit. You cna see an exmaple of a dev saying exactly that when the original Gears of War was being ported for the PC

The only way to exprience what it actually is like to aim with thumbsticks is to do it on a PC game that allows a gamepad and does nto alter gameplay for it.

I believe Crysis 1 comes close, but even there the devs add some slight aim asist. Still, try playing Crysis one on Pc with a gamepad. It is HARD, even for console veterans.

SO yeah, that's not truly honest. You can't put out a game on console with the same hit boxes, the same difficulty level, and the same 0 aim assist as on PC. Consolites would have a fit.

I dunno about you but I found Crysis one to be simple on delta even with a gamepad...and i barely play consoles! In fact, I even banned myself from using a silencer to make it more difficult but alas the ownage continued!

[QUOTE="dom2000"]Does anyone know the free to play pc game that had a topic on this forum a few weeks ago.. I forget the name...but it had a monster which could only move when you didnt look at it. The graphics left alot to be desired but it was still freaky! There is also another game made by the same person I believe where you walk down a seemingly endless staircase while at the same time the ambient sound effects create an amazing amount of tension, all the while you except something to jump out at you? Please someone give me the name of these games!!seanmcloughlin

It's SCP containment breach. I posted that topic :P

I found penumbra more scary than the incredibly easy and predictable amnesia! Once you realise there is an incredibly limited number of monsters, all the ambient sound effects are obviously meaningless, not to mention the monster is stupid and easy to get away from the very rare time he actually sees you. I will still buy the next game though but im expecting much more!

[QUOTE="Loegi"][QUOTE="reach3"][QUOTE="Loegi"] Perhaps casuals, but real pc gamers will have a higher resolution. And I doubt the iPad can comfortably run that stuff with AA and other stuff. And I'd rather have the Vita, since it has physical controls.

Um no, stop lying. 2047x1536 is far higher than 99.999% pc gamers play at.

0.72% of steam users use 2560x1440, which is higher. So, you're wrong idiot. And the majority of the rest are, as I have already said, casuals.

I only play at 1080p with my gtx 670... OMG! Im casual??? Please someone shoot me im killing gaming!
