[QUOTE="dom2000"]Sounds like a dumbed down version of a game I really enjoyed... Less darkness? Can have light and gun out at the same time? Sped up gameplay? How are these "improvements"? Way to remove any challenge and suspense ID, I think ill pass this one! musicalmac
Actually, flashlight and gun at the same time is an improvement... That was a weird design choice...

I disagree completely, I loved the fact you had to choose whether you could see or shoot! It really racks up the tension and adds a degree of strategy to how you play the game. The game is significantly more boring not to mention easy if you have them out at the same time.

[QUOTE="jun_aka_pekto"]

1080p is my "good enough" threshold whether for PC or console gaming especially if there's generous amounts of antialiasing. I'll eventually go beyond 1080p. But, I won't be in too much of a hurry.

Remember the leap from 480 to 1080?

1080 is the new 480. Muddy looking fuzzball graphics. You can get a '1440' IPS monitor for $300, so there isn't much reason to artificially limit yourself, that is pretty cheap.

Cost is a pretty good reason. Sure the monitor is affordable but building a computer that can run the metros and crysiss of this world at max settings at that resolution would be expensive for sure. Even my gtx 670 would strain to play at that resolution!

Lol is this a games forum or a sports forum? I sense some slight exaggerations in most of these posts. You should post your picture and say how long you have been working out "5 or 6 times a week" for so we can all judge whether you are lying.

I dont understand the glee of some users about this statement, true or not! Its clearly the future and would work alot better than the horribly outdated current consoles and the moderately outdated next generation consoles

Eugh Cevat Yerli, I cant stand that man. Oh how I wish what he was saying was actually true, and the game would look like that tech demo floating around and push the boundaries of pc gaming. But nobody hold their breath....the game will probably end up slightly more demanding than Crysis 2!

kinda stopped listening to Crytek for awhile now.lawlessx
Precisely! Their interviews are jammed full of grossly exaggerated claims, half truths and plain and utter lies. Recent interviews alluding to reasons behind Crysis 2s relatively lackluster graphics and AI have been laughable! I remember interviews prior to the launch of Crysis talking about the effort they are putting into the pc version to make it absolutely amazing and how the AI was going to be the most advanced ever seen in a fps....bs! Now they are making excuses about Crysis 2 and making similar claims about Crysis 3, how can they possibly expect me to believe them? To think I used to rate Crytek up there with Valve...

I just got that feeling....the feeling I havent felt since Crysis 1! The feeling of being totally awed by a new games graphics! That said, its quickly being replaced by a new feeling...of impending disappointment due to those compulsive liers at Crytek! Oh how I wish the game would actually look like that...

Eugh...the game is basically unplayable at that resolution!
