@livedreamplay: I can believe that. The US is renowned for its emphasis on customer service. Whenever I have bought things from US companies and had them shipped over to the UK, they are always amazing on that front. Much better than over here.
@livedreamplay: @VakarianGirl Haha! Seriously, I didn't purchase it, my two year old son did. I never buy AAA games online unless they are on sale and certainly not deluxe editions. Can get the physical copies cheaper.
@a7x_kill_la_kill: Just like single player games, multiplayer games also have a shelf life. The player base drops off drastically after a couple of months and over time, if not enough people play it, the servers eventually shut down rendering it non-entity. People generally get bored of multiplayer games in about the same amount of time it takes to complete a good single player RPG.
@austinp: God of War has always been a bit on the linear side, cinematic and action orientated like Uncharted and TLoU, just with mythical settings and melee weapons. Don't quite understand how the game has been made MORE like those two other than having a side-kick.
@livedreamplay: My 9 year old son paused his game and left the gamepad on the sofa when he went into the kitchen to get a snack. My 2 year old son picked it up, pressed a load of buttons and inadvertently purchased the deluxe edition of Mass Effect Andromeda for £64.99 (a game we didn't want). After speaking to Sony, they returned the £64.99 to my Playstation wallet, but would not refund the money to my bank account. No matter how much I tried telling them that this was not a “true” refund, that I hadn't intended to spend that money on gaming and that I needed it back in order to pay other bills, they wouldn’t have it. It was like getting store credit instead of getting your actual money back, which is not consumer friendly because either way, they are forcing you to spend that money with them. I was extremely pissed and almost quit on Sony and Playstation after that.
Are you American or European? If American, it sounds like they have much better customer policies and service.
