Xenogears is incredible if you want a good, deep story. It's definately one of my favourite RPGs since I first played it a year ago, and it has a great soundtrack as well. I would also recommend FFIX if you haven't played it yet, imo one of the best of the FF series.

I'm not sure but even if it is going to be available for purchase non-preordered, apparently quantities are very limited in some places so you'll be taking a risk by not pre-ordering. Waiting a couple more hours till the next day really isn't a bit deal to me, just pre-order it and pick it up first thing Sunday. That way you're guaranteed the bundle.
It's pretty much the only genre that I do listen to, aside from the music in games and some anime/movies. My personal favourite composer is Mahler, he was a master at orchestration and conveying deep emotions that can really touch the soul. It's as if his music expressed the world itself. I also listen to Mozart, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Dvorak, Bruckner, Sibelius, Chopin, Hans Rott (though he only had 1 real symphony), as well as others. I've been considering getting into music as a career but I'm undecided at the moment.
It was slightly extended into Friday and ended at 9:00am PST/12:00pm EST yesterday. So yeah, it's over now.
I'm not really mad, it's not like it's a lot of money. I just thought it was unfair cause Sony said that they will refund anybody who is charged tax. And yeah, apparently donations are taxed now...on PSN at least, lol.
So I sent them an e-mail and got a response back. They basically just thanked me for donating over PSN, and then went on to say that pricing on PSN varies by region and that Playstation Store content may be subject to applicable taxes by each region, state, county, and/or city and may change periodically as tax rates are revised. Nothing about whether I would get a refund or not, but I'm assuming it's a no -.- Although I appreciate their effect to raise funds for the relief, this will probably be the last time I donate towards anything on PSN.
Noo, I made a 25 dollar donation so the tax was higher. Wanted to make it 50 but because of the tax issue I had insufficient funds. I'm in Canada btw so I'm not sure if that would affect whether I get a tax refund...I'll contact Sony and see what they say.
