Sounds about right to me, I think many other publications scored too high. To my point, slap a new coat of paint on Mario64 and it's a 9 or 10, because it was that good a game to begin with. Even if you could get Skynet to send a re-remaster of Crash back in time from PS12 era to today with those graphics but same gameplay it'd still be a 6. Just wasn't that great to start with. Nostalgia is a tricky thing, for instance... I'm 37 but can still marathon Ducktales to this day because it's phenomenal. Now I watched a lot of ALF when I was a kid too, but try to watch an episode of that today- it's nowhere near as good as I remember it being. Well, Crash is ALF.

I have no problems with d-pad/stick orientation on either. What really screws with you is the button/stick layout on WiiU Pro controller. It's well built but right side orientation is brain breaking. DS4's only shortcomings for me are battery life and longevity. An Elite DS4 would be quite glorious if they had equal build quality as Elite XBone and managed to get a few more ma/h's out of it. Lights are necessary for VR, and some games the track Pad is indispensable. FFXIV is rumored to be in the works for Switch and XBone, but IMO PS4 version and Switch version would be the only ones worth looking at due to touch/trackpad. FFXIV on XBone wouldn't keep up with either of the other two.
If their planet can support our planets species, then yes we will take it- the easy way or the hard way their choice. Step one: invade and enslave. Step two: when shuttling all of our planets awesome animals over to Earth2 offer our old sh*tty planet to the E.T.'s as consolation. Also, shotgun king of Earth2!
Splatoon 2!!! I also have all of the new Amiibo's and Splatoon Pro controller pre-ordered . I was a huge fan of the first one and can't wait for 2. From the windowwwws, to the walllllllls.
I have most of them released in North America. Off the top of my head I'm only missing the big woolly Yoshi and Gold Mega Man. Ones announced for pre-order mostly obtained as well. Have a few Japanese ones, doesn't matter they are identical if you open them, and I do :) Haven't taken pics in a while, also don't have room for all of these. I have a problem. Looking into some custom shelving...
+1 cuz I will have it day one. But I do beleive it's going to be a niche console, appealing mostly to people like me whose entertainment centers in their LR cost more than most are willing to spend on a car m. I would expect that it will amount to at best 25% of XBone total sales for the period in question- it's up to M$ to give people a reason to make the number 25% of significance. I can't afford not to, and most multiplats will shift for me from PS4 Pro to XBoneX (except for titles with a PSVR advantage).
Not bad, but careful removing it. Allegedly you can rip the finish off the Joycon depending on the adhesive used.
In Canada the Switch is a sawbuck cheaper than the PS4 Pro, as a matter of fact until November the Pro is the most expensive console on the market as far as I know. But yeah, I do get a lot of use out of my PS4 Pro though, it is the current king of the living room to show off my TV (aside from my $700 standalone Samsung 4K Bluray player).
