Great hypothetical question. It almost gave me a stroke trying to hash out an answer. Many great ones listed, and as good as so many of the titles listed across many great consoles what you have to make sure of is that you pick "20 year replayability" titles, or that you bring a console from the wired controller era so you can use it to hang yourself.

Now since online can be accomplished I'll bring a Vita for its portable nature around my lost island with WiFi. I suppose I'll have downloaded Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max for PSP (which I do on my Vita). I will also use the Internet for rescue and naughty websites until rescue arrives.

Well, take the Joycon off of the Switch and compare it's size to all of its competition. I'd say the specs are more than appropriate. And when I dock it and play on my 65" 4K TV Zelda and MK8 are freaking gorgeous. Splatoon 2 days away. I'm quite happy with the Switch.

Could just be me, but what title has he ever had a hand in bringing to the table that couldn't easily run on Switch hardware? Of course you'll sell more platformers on a console that doesn't have you competing with Nintendo first party, but don't confuse that with the fact that the franchise he's touting may have come from PS1 era but aside from graphical polish has the gameplay and mechanics of a SNES title. I don't necessarily mean that as an insult, but his games are basically indies by today's standards. Sure, if the argument came from a dev who had to pair down a AAA such as Anthem- well ya it's a handheld that'd be tough... But Oddworld? Really? This tool couldn't have kept Iwata's chair warm for a bathroom break.

I have coined more than a few terms that are gaining (or should be) popularity in modern times- a notable reference being "that's what he-she said" .

One term I've been trying to have widely adopted is "lady candy" which is a reference to any part of a woman that belongs in my mouth (which if you're doing it right describes 100% of a woman's surface area). An opposed term I've also coined is "lady vegetables" which is to describe the opposite end of the spectrum, think Rihanna vs Rosie O'Donnell. Well, my answer to TC is "because lady candy"! So there you have it Internet. Keep Dr_Vancouver's legacy alive with these terms, If I get hit by a bus tomorrow I still expect that a thousand years from now lady candies will be worshipped, and that It came from Dr_Vancouver's mouth...
