New banner

It was about time to change my old banner, I've had the last one almost since I joined the site and honestly, it was pretty ugly. I hope this one isn't pushing the TOU too much, I will be offended if mods find it offensive.

Hmm, pretty short post, let's add something more...here's a great flash game.

Oh, and I finally got Bayonetta.

The best fighting freebie ever

Lately I've been playing a fighting game called Vanguard princess, it is rumored that it was created by a Capcom employee so you can expect certain degree of quality, the graphics are really well done for a free game, actually if you aren't nitpicky the game is virtually perfect, the gameplay is fluid and the characters are good with original styles.

Vanguard princess

Something curious about this game is that all the characters are female, every single one of them, so if you don't like to play as a girl this is not the game for you, also the designs are somewhat kinky.

Here are some videos:

This is my favorite character right now.

Chicks with guns FTW

For some reason, such an awesome game is given for free by the creator, you can get it from hereand is totally legal. Additionally here are some links that may be helpful.

This one explains how to run the game

This contains useful info for everybody who doesnt speak japanese

I hope somebody find this game as enjoyable as I do.

Midnight musical recommendation

It has been a while since my last blog post, let's face it I can't do this so often, I can't find anything worthy to post all the time, anyway I want you to take some time to hear this song, it's an wonderful tribute to John Lennon, Queen and Chopin, good stuff I swear.

Hmm, this looks empty let's put a picture here just to make this look bigger.

Filler picture

More filler

sexy filler

more sexy

I'm too lazy to post something more so please enjoy the song and the pictures.

So after a month I finished Resident Evil 5

It really didn't take me the whole month to finish it, actually since I bought it I've just played three days; the day I bought it, in which I got to chapter three or something, two days ago I beat the main game and yesterday got every mercenaries character, it was pretty easy actually. Now my thoughts about the game, it's fun, really, people complains about the controls recycled from RE4, when four was created the controls were innovative and now that the scheme of the 3rd person shooters has evolved those old tank controls the game may look outdated, as for me that wasn't a problem, as I said I'm a RE4 freak so it was all I expected, the thing that really made me want to break my control was the real time menu, I understand that now that the game it's played co-op you can't stop time any time you want to change a weapon or use an item but sometimes it is really dangerous to open the menu and choose an action while you are sorrounded by enemies and your health is low specially if those enemies are almost as fast as you or can instant kill you in one hit, in those situations you can only trust in your partner but if it's AI controled you'll need luck.

The game itself is great and I loved it, if you haven't played yet you should, is what pretty peolple is playing right now, now I'm going to finish it on veteran, as for my life in two weeks is my highschool graduation.

Yay Resident Evil 5 and a new emblem

Finally, the game that was one of the biggest reasons to buy a 360 came out and now is in my hands, it sure was expensive with the recession and all (the equivalent to €60.50, $78.20, ouch), anyway, I am a Resident Evil 4 freak (I can beat the game with just the knife) so I hope 5 is not going to disappoint me.

The other thing, I got a new emblem, probably most of you too.

Yesterday I saw a movie

And it wasn't new, it wasn't great and it didn't changed my life. So why make a post about some random average movie?, because of this song. Yeah just for that, I have never played any Silent Hill so I don't know if the movie makes justice to the series, but I really liked the soundtrack specially the last song (yeah, I watched all the credits because I didn't get the ending so I was hoping for an explanation).

This blog post is actually a musical recommendation disguised in a more attractive title to lure people, but I wanted to share the joy of this song, and just for the sake of it (and because is my blog and I do what I want) here is a piano version.

By the way, there were nurses in the movie.

Sexy, aren't they?...

NO!!!

So today I'm a year older

Yeah, a day like this, 19 years ago, I was born, but for some reason I don't feel very excited about it, am I getting too old to enjoy a birthday?, or is just that is monday and I have to go to school?, I don't know. Whatever, let's celebrate with:

Cake

And beer (for those in age)

If not, take some juice

There is pizza over there too

Enjoy the celebration!!!.

How it was 2008 from my point of view?

Finally 2008 ended, not that I was waiting for the year to end, actually I don't even remember how it began but I'm sure a lot of things happened last year.

My memory is really bad but there's events that even I can't forget, the world has been through a lot of changes some of them good, some others bad, let's start naming and remembering what happened in 2008.

From the gaming standpoint 2008 was a great year, it was like 1998 of this generation, lots of amazing games that raised the standards of entretainment's bussines, to name some we have: Metal Gear Solid 4, Super Smash Bros Brawl, Little big planet, Soulcalibur 4, Street fighter 2 HD remix, Braid, World of Goo, Fallout, No More Heroes, Gears of War 2, Prince of Persia, Grand theft auto 4, and plenty of games that elude my memory right now.

The portables got their piece of cake too, with the PSP and NDS fighting for their public, some of the greatest portable games had born, seriously, some weeks the PSP was kicking Nintendo's but, sometimes it was the other way around, the volatile market changed with every big title in each console. This year if I remember correctly it was the death of piracy devices for portables too.

But not everything was so great, some games didn't survived the hype, they were consumed by the words of their developers and publicists, they were destroyed by the press, don't even make think in Too human again, and who can forget SW the force unleashed, some may add Fable 2, Wii music (damn, it didn't even was a great idea to begin with), and so on.

Other big failure was E3 2008, the first time I watched the e3 on live-stream and it sucked, everybody who watched it won't let me lie.

First Microsoft, it was so bad, basically the new experience, every clip they had was like the first ads for the wii, a bunch of multy racial persons pretending to have fun while playing all together with their wireless motion controlers, so bizarre. The avatars were somewhat a good idea, the problem, Nintendo added their Miis first, I'm not sayin they are the same, but damn they were compared to death, besides the Xiis, like some people calls them, can't reflect our ugly faces as the Miis can, there is not a lot of customization with them, one point for them, there are not sexual faces around there.

The Nintendo conference sucked, they were promising a game everybody would want by the end of the year, during the wait for the "great game", we saw a woman talking about puppies and a mortal duel between Regginator and her, a hippie in snowboard and lot of hype. At the end the game we were expecting, Miyamoto walks acroos the stage pretending to play music with a wiimote and my inner child getting stabbed by Nintendo, yeah, the show was a lie, a lie aiming to get my grandmothers money instaed of mine.

And Sony, what can I say, it was boooooriiiiiiiing, the dude was painful to hear, the GoW 3 teaser leave evrybody hoping to see more, most of the games were uninteresting and lots of commercials doesn't excite me.

In the world, well there it is the global recession, the rise of gas price, Obama as the USA president, shoes flying to Bush, but my favorite, the Olympic games.

I'm not a big fan of sports but the olympics are quite the event, Phelps won everybody's heart while winning 14 gold medals and beating the record of Spitz. Bolt running like the devil was amazing too, and who can forget the opening show and closure, China was a good choice for the Olympic games.

In movies, I didn't watched all of them but I really LOVED The dark knight and Wall-E. I watched Cloverfield with a lot of expectations but I didn't liked it, my problem was the fact that you must watch all the viral marketing to fully understand the movie, and for me that's like studying and its not even worth it. I watched Kung-Fu Panda just for fun, I really liked it.

What else, yeah, the death of Heath Ledger, was a shock, I hope he's resting in peace.

In my personal life, I did a lot of things I thought I would never do, thing I always wanted to do, and finally became a confident person, yay for me.

If somebody was able to read through my poor grammar and that wall of text, comment and tell me what did you like about 2008.

Happy new year everyone!!.

After a long time of no blog post, here it comes, The First Anniversary post!!!

Woo!!, I didn't even noticed it but I have been a member of GS for more than a year, it was in august 12 of the last year the day I created my account and since then I've made lot of things I was never interested or I couldn't, for example writing a blog or watch a live feedback of the E3 (sadly it was the worst in history), anyway the site is fun specially reading and commenting in the blogs I've tracked.

Happy birthday account!

In other stories, I didn't wrote in my blog since january, that's a lot, it wasn't because my life got boring, is just that I'm really lazy, or some things I thought weren't cool enough to be told to the public, I hope nobody got dissapointed for all the time I was inactive in the site, but I'll try to do awesome things more often to have something cool to read, okay?.

Cake

Enjoy the cake. (It's a 65 or a GS? I don't know)

Why nobody tell me?

On January 22, 2008, Ledger was found dead in his fourth-floor apartment at 421 Broome Street in the SoHo neighborhood of New York City. He was found at 3:26 p.m. EST by a housekeeper and a massage therapist, who entered the bedroom to find him face down, nude, and unconscious at the foot of his bed with sleeping pills on a nearby night table. Police said that they also found prescription medication in the bathroom and that there were "no obvious signs" of suicide, nor did they suspect foul play.

What?. Today I just read this, how I didn't knew that till today I don't know. The reason of this post is not to evidence how uninformed I am but to tell how bad is this, I am waiting for his last movie since almost 6 months, yeah, he is the jocker in the movie, the good thing is, the movie is finished, I have heard of a guy who hopes his last actuation wasn't memorable because find a replacement for a sequel is going to be hard, another opinion comes from a blog and says what is going to happen this year about his death, translated to english is something more or less like this:

What is coming. First, in the oscar, when they remmember the gone actors, he's gonna be the major. That for sure. Then the praise of his acting capabilities and the exaggeretion of them without discretion. Finally, when everybody watch The dark knight, they are going to put him at the level of Brandon Lee and he will become a myth. Too bad. He was 28

I think he is right, whatever, when I watch the movie at least I hope his Jocker despiction to be good enough to make a great Batman movie villian.

All I can say is rest in peace.
