Stole stuff, basically. Old PC parts that were in a storage room (trash basically), old keyboards, old adapters, old UPS's, old headsets, etc.

I use Firefox with NoScript and AdBlock Plus + ESET Nod32 + Spybot Search & Destroy + Sygate Personal Firewall + a Start-up process manager (can't remember the name of it at this time). It's overkill, but there is basically no chance of anything happening.
I use mac, that good enough security for me :P Darth-Caedus
That's why Apple themselves recommend using anti-virus software on Macs? rofl

a 7300GT is a pretty bad card for any use. For strict design work (CAD, 3D Rendering, etc etc), first of all you'll want a multi-core processor. A quad core is good, and quad cores couldn't be cheaper if they wanted to. RAM is also VERY important. I have 4gb now (architecture student who uses Rhino/AutoCAD A LOT) and sometimes rendering massive images can be a drag. RAM helps with this. I'm actually thinking of getting 4 more gigs The GPU (Video card) can help if it's specialized. although i am first of all an architecture student, i also use my PC to game. so having a design-oriented GPU isn't the best idea for me. that is why i chose a geforce card that can still do GPU-intensive tasks well (although not as well as other cards which ill describe now). if you dont need to play intensive video games and want a design-oriented video card, look into the ATI FireGL's or the NVIDIA Quadro FX's. These are specifically designed to reduce stress on the CPU (processor) by taking on some of the calculation and processing themselves. high end versions of these cards are ASTRONOMICALLY high, but the lower end will do well (much better than a 7300GT) and not burn a hole through your pocket.

EDIT: didn't see that you needed an AGP card specifically. this narrows your options significantly. i would advise your father to spend about $800-1000 building a new PC with up-to-date hardware that will be much more future-proof.

I don't have the same case (got an NZXT Hush instead), but cable management is cable management no matter the case. Use cable ties like wii_123 said (also known as zip ties) Here's a picture of my case with the side panel taken off. I'm still going to organize it a bit more (DVD Burner hasn't arrived yet so no point in organizing the remaining cables for now), but it gives you an idea of what to try to achieve. as you can see, the cables not being used will be out of sight in the 5.25" drive compartment. the front panel cables (connecting the speakers, mic, power and reset LED's, front fan, etc) have all been tied around the border of the case and they lie flat on the bottom panel. the power and SATA cables for the hard drive have been moved to the back of the case and are mostly out of sight. there they were attached to an empty slot with more zip ties. the back case fan's cables run hidden along the border of the case. you can barely see it and the only indicaiton that it is actually there are the red zip ties. the heatsink's connectores have been looped around the fan itself and then connected to the CPUFAN socket. it looks a lot cleaner this way. i couldn't do much with the CPU cable and the 2 6pin cables for the video card, but they are still relatively clean looking. the 24-pin motherboard connector also goes into the 5.25" drive compartment and loops back to the power supply while remaining mostly out of sight..

If you're getting too hairy, definitely trim all that junk. I would strongly suggest not to shave, but definitely do trim. My armpits and *down there* are hairy as hell if I let them grow wild, so trimming once a month keeps it looking clean. And it's more comfortable too.
Are you high, or extremely stupid-Hells_Gate-

Christian Bale is a good actor. The Prestige, The Machinist, among many others, all excellent roles. I could see him as a Young Snake.

Probably more immature moderators (IE, too eager to follow the rules verbatim, too eager to appease, probably of younger age).

I pretty much purchased all my Christmas gifts for myself. A 22" LCD monitor, a 42" LCV HDTV, and a new drafting table.

If I had to die, as in, commit suicide, I would choose to jump off a building or an airplane with no parachute. Because that way, even if you do die, you're going to experience the act of flying at least for a few seconds.
