I would say the Hitachi Travelstar. Solid State Drives have limited read and write cycles, meaning that if you move around files a lot or if you add/remove files on a constant basis it's lifetime is a lot shorter than a Hard Disk Drive.
Gaming or Laptop. Choose one. You can't have both.
I'm serious. Gaming laptops are just too expensive for their performance. You're better off buying a $1500 PC that will perform the same or better than the $3500 laptop and buying a light netbook to carry around.
Yep, I would have to put my money on an overheating video card. Check to see that you have good airflow in your case and if there's any dust accumulated on the video card or on it's fan.
get the xfx black edition , its cheap and nVidia are better at the moment sentenced83
What?
Let's not forget that the ATI HD 4870X2 is currently the fastest card in the market for gaming and that ATI cards usually outperform NVIDIA cards at several price levels. Once we forget these facts, maybe then we can believe your claim.
Just connect it and it should be available the next time you boot into your operating system. No need for a raid setup. I have 5 hard drives, 3 of them stand alone and only two of them in RAID 0. It's as simple as plug and boot.
