@taylor_sparks: Based on the comments I'm reading, there seem to be quite a few people who prefer the unlocked 40-50 over a locked 30 fps. I'm getting the impression we might be the minority though...

I'm one of the ones who definitely prefers the unlocked frame rate. It still feels better than a locked 30 fps to me while it hangs out in the 40-50 range. If SE does listen to the complaints on this, I hope they will offer a simple option for a locked and unlocked frame rate... I'd imagine it would be pretty easy to implement.

@dacontag: Me as well. The uncapped framerate feels a lot better to me and it seems to stay in the 40-50 range. I definitely prefer it to the locked 30.

Although it doesn't maintain a consistent 60 fps on the PS4 Pro, it feels like it's stayed above 40-50 so far and I think this is a fantastic improvement for light mode. I generally prefer better framerate over graphical detail, and this feels a lot smoother when running around, driving, flying, and fighting, though I haven't tried any massive battles yet.

BTW: The game is on sale on PSN for $39.59. I think the DLC pack and Premium edition are also on sale.

From the video, I get the impression that swinging wildly would be more effective than being tactical.

@filthy_casual_: As long as each page has a loosely related video at the top that plays automatically, cleverly disguised sponsored content, and a summary of every piece of information Gamespot has ever posted about this game containing multiple links to other articles that I've already read.

@wheepitup: A real NES is a bit less convenient for several reasons. Most people would need a converter to connect it to a modern TV, and there is a genuine concern that the games won't always work / battery backup will fail or the system won't work. A full sized NES with those extra cables and 30 classic games is going to cost a lot more than $60, it's going to take up a lot more space, and it will be a lot less portable.

@Supabul: Same here, but on the Rift. I thought they all looked pretty terrible.

@fig56: Yeah, they should just release crappy hardware and software instead so that I won't want it.
