Damn Danny. Sorry to see you go but I hope to see you around on the site. You will be sorely missed.

@zeromanzero: I play almost all of my PC games on a 50 inch HD TV with either a PS4 or XBOX1 controller depending on the game. It's standard for graphics cards to have an HDMI output and anyone can plug a PS4 controller in via USB just like you'd plug it into a PS4.

@edhc44: Sounds like you had quite a time with FFXIII's battle system. I can relate, cause it was terrible.

@leon00x: You basically just pointed out my biggest issue with modern Final Fantasy games haha. Well done!

@edhc44: Right on, I'm a Software Engineer as well (same thing right?). FFXII came out while I was still pursuing music and hadn't yet returned to school, so maybe it just scratched that coding itch for me at the time. I hadn't messed around with logic like that since the games I made in high school. Maybe that's why it felt somehow nostalgic.

I remember when I first saw the gambit system! I thought come on, I don't want to think right now :P You are right about AI and how it is more of a programmable learning concept than an "if x do y" concept. I barely passed the course with a B though so I don't want to argue against your knowledge.

It's good to hear someone like you who is encouraging people not to judge other people's opinions by their own standards. Proceed as you are.

@CyberEarth: I read about the poor amount of options on FFXIII as well but ended up buying it on a Steam sale for about $10.

Sorry to be anal about frame rates, but this game annoyed the crap out of me on the XBox360. On the PC it's been a silky smooth 60 fps (with shadows on medium), and my drawers have stayed clean.

@linthes999: Especially the boiled crap of rare monsters such as Iron Giants and Behemoths. Stay away from the boiled Malboro crap.

@computernoises: The visuals are nice, but the motion controls seem to be pretty divisive among fans. Give it a go and see if you like it.

@sakaixx: It is very unlikely that this version of Skyward Sword allows you to play without motion controls.
