This ad is so funny and nostalgic that I'm tempted to buy the game just for the hell of it (as long it's only around 5 bucks.) That magazine ad with Jonathan Tailor Thomas cracked me up as well as the Shigeru Miyamoto quote, but this video plastered a dumb grin on my face for the whole 2 minutes.

I've been pretty patient and optimistic about Square Enix's future Final Fantasy efforts, especially Final Fantasy XV. That is despite how disappointed I was with FFXIII. This.... just makes my passion for the series die a little bit and now I'm more worried about whether the developers can present a competent story in Final Fantasy XV that doesn't make me cringe.

If they can just keep the story somewhat simple, there might be some hope. It seems like they end up making a mess every time they try to be clever or profound. I can't help but wonder if some of that problem is due to the Japanese to English translation and cultural differences.

Anyways, if S.E. really cares about this character, why would they completely sell her out to say things that sound like a clothing company changed her life and is more valuable than any of the experiences from the games she starred in? This LV interview should be an April fools joke.

@BigBossWato: It's my favorite 3D Zelda as well, though I might tie it with Ocarina of Time. A Link to The Past is probably my favorite in the series.

@jayz0ned: That would be awesome if it offered a turn-based approach like XII, but I think it's highly unlikely. Sounds to me like you can just adjust the speed of the battle like in most ATB Final Fantasy games.

@masterkushh: Hairstyles and clothing apparently determine a characters personality.

@blueinheaven: These were questions asked by fans and answered on the Final Fantasy Forums, not by Gamespot. The first and second paragraphs of this article explained that.

@justinhaywald: That would have been funny. I'd imagine you have to be careful of headlines that could piss people off though haha.

@Xristophoros: I 99.99% agree with you. Especially about FFXV since it's been reported to be in a near Beta like state where it's playable from start to finish but without final assets and polish. With The Last Guardian, it's more of a hunch, but I think it's very likely to come out in 2016. There could be a tiny chance one of them don't come out this year, but I think that's highly unlikely.

@justinhaywald: That makes sense. I'm not sure why this video seemed so out of place to me. Keep up the good work man.

@bfa1509: That's interesting because I also took Physics at an Engineering school (in the US just like @rbrettj) and we typically used Z as up and down (though it wasn't required) while @climhazard5 studied mineralogy and was used to Y as up and down. I think it's safe to agree there is no standard, and it just depends on the situation as you and others have also suggested.
