For anyone who thinks every animated character should be played by an actor of the same race or skin color; Do you also think that the actor should have the same eye color, height, hair color, or gender?

@ggaming72: Did you read the whole article or watch the interview? The developer auditioned people of different races and chose the actor based on their voice, not the color of their skin. The character model and skin color had not even been decided yet when they chose this actor to voice the part.

Sure, they could settle for actors that look like every character in the game instead of prioritizing the way they sound, but that's obviously not going to be ideal. Do you think tall characters should be only played by tall actors or a blue eyed character should only be played by a blue eyed actor? Do you really think that voice actors should be given preference based on their skin color?

@Xristophoros: It just sounds to me like they are continuing to aim bigger and better. No extra sub-text needs to be interpreted from that. I see this as a good thing as they're just try to achieve more with the next game rather than settling in to a formula and spitting out the same level of quality.

I'm getting the impression that the music in this game is based on player input because it is choppy as hell, and unpleasant electronic sounds keep playing just so slightly off the beat that it sounds like a mess.

@catsimboy: I'm pretty sure it will have the good quality music. Even the current version of the Steam port comes with the original PS1 version of the music.

@Joefatty2x4: I'd expect the materia system to be similar to the one in Crisis Core. There were a lot of physical attacks as well magic based materia in that one.

I highly recommend Rogue Galaxy for anyone that missed it. The game came out at the end of the PS2 generation so it was often overlooked.

It has one of the best action RPG combat system, graphics that still look good to me, good music, large environments to explore (sometimes a little too long imo), and easily 100+ hours of gameplay without even completing all of the sidequests.

Anybody heard any good Final Fantasy XV jokes lately? Something fresh and witty like, "So it will come out in 20XX" or "The developers spend all their time making the boys look pretty" would be super creative and funny.

I wonder if anyone has ever thought of making a joke like that.... So funny you just might see them made repeatedly in the comment section of every Final Fantasy XV article.

Pass the salt.
