Great video. As a programmer aspiring to develop video games, it's really interesting to hear what Greg had to say. Transistor looks pretty cool and now I have the urge to make some more progress in Bastion.

@Gbullet I agree, a reviewer should finish the game before writing a review. Another thing that bugged me is he said he will probably come back to play it in the future ("haven't completely given up"). I can't think of any games I would rate as a 5/10 that I would ever want to play again.

@jake198624 You can sink a lot of time into playing and mastering the nuances of a single class. The number of jobs to start with is more than enough for me. I've spent over 100 fun hours in the game and only brought one job to the level cap and briefly played as a few others, I'm still progressing through endgame content and have a couple more tiers of armor and weapon upgrades I'm working towards for my main job.

Mastering the playing nuances of each role to be a valuable team member is another aspect of the game that will consume some time and effort.

I don't feel that the content is lacking at all, especially with the amount of new content SE has released about every month or two including main story, side quests, bosses, dungeons, and gear.

Great video. Eve Online looks like an awesome experience, but sadly, I doubt I will ever invest the time it would take to get into it.

@Conjuration It was my first RPG too. It pales in comparison to other Snes RPG's, but when I rented it for the first time as a 10 year old I loved it and it was all I wanted for Christmas. A year later I picked up FFIV (titled FFII of course) and it blew me away. I was hooked for life :D

I just found out some fans remastered the game using RPG Maker. Here is a link to the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8DsHYQFSO7o

Probably better off playing the original...

@haze0986 @Thanatos2k He's the lord of the dead so he has some authority on the subject :P

What's considered scary varies from person to person. I agree with Thanatos though that a quick jump isn't the same as being genuinely scared.

@Thanatos2k I totally agree Thanatos. I've been complaining about "Scary Movies" that are just full of cheep surprises timed with a loud noise to make the audience jump. Glad to see I'm not the only one. I find that genuinely scary movies and games are pretty hard to come by.
