If you chose Tekken 3, it because you weren;t hgaming when Tekken 2 came out.

Tekken 2 was the best fighting game, ever.

I mean, pick one. You can either say you have ownage for a flop because cows hyped it to high. Or, you have ownage because the game is no good. Which one is it?

We have lemming after lemming creating threads about all of the PS3 "flops." Heavenly Sword, Lair, Ratchet and Clank, Warhawk, and Uncharted have all been called flops. And most lemmings are saying that these so called "flops" are a reason NOT to buy a PS3. Wha, wha, what? These games are all crappy games that won't be fun, won't play well, won't look great, and won't sound good? Are you kidding?

Seriously, pull your face away from Bill Gates' backside for a second and look around. These are great games that will be fun to play. No doubt. Even Lair.

A review isn't just a number. Read the Lair review. Then tell me it failed in every aspect. Tell me they didn't say it was beautiful. Tell me they didn't say the story and animations weren't great. Tell me how the audio was bad. If you read the reviews, you can't. So, cut the crap.

Its still within PS3 first year and PS3 is gettingas good or bettertitles than 360 did in its first. And rip on Lair all you want, at least Sony is trying something different with the six-axis. At least they're giving it a try. At least they are trying to add something to gaming. Unlike others who rely on older hardware and the same old same.

Anyone who believes all of these games are flops needs to quit gaming. Thses are some great games and everyone knows it. Oh, you can make these threads, trying to feel better about it. Go ahead. But I will play each and every one of these hgames and so will the general public. So, get off your high horse and start getting a clue.

We are talking about gaming. And thats where Lair fell short. The gameplay, from the reviews, seems to be so bad its almost unplayable. IMO, I think thats a stretch. I'd like to try it myself.

But you must admit, just as reviewers have, that Lair has very good graphics, great audio, and an intriguing story. You absolutely can't say this game flopped on all accounts. It, at least, pushed the envelope on what can be done on those three factors. And, obviously, it failed on gameplay, a HUGE factor.

I mean, really, whats worse? Having a game like Lair, that actually pushes the envelope in graphics, audio, and story? OR, having a game like Hour of Victory that does none of that.

Get off this "hype" crap. At the end of the day, Lair's a great addition to the PS3 lineup. And the general public will be playing this game, hyped or not.

I don't own either but Bioshock is at the top of the list. TekkenMaster606

It flopped cause it got a 4.5.

You missed my whole point. Lair was hyped for the graphics, story, and audio. Just about all the things you can experience with the media available without owning the game. Did Lair deliver on all three? Absolutely.
