The way I see it is that if you cannot pay $50 for 12 months of online gaming, then you probably cant afford to pay $60 for one game, let alone whatever you paid for your console. This debate needs to be put to rest, forever.

I will buy it, if it is not incredibly overpriced, which I am afraid it will be. It would be nice to have because when I am on the web with my laptop I usually run my router in 802.11n then have to switch back to .g when I want to get on Live, so this would be welcome.

That depends on what you mean by "future". If we are talking something like space marines, been there done that, no thank you. If it ever comes to that point, I think I would completely loose all interest in the CoD franchise.

This is an interesting article courtesy of TeamXbox.com.

Crytek says MS is slow for Champions online

Any one else wonder with the success of Warcraft, Eve-online, EveSoft, Sony making inroads to an MMO type game on the PS3.

Microsoft have been very quiet about it, and I don;t if it may have to be a technical issue like dedicated servers or something.

What do you guys think?

AdmiralBison
OP I think you meant "Cryptic" instead of "Crytek". I wish then that Microsoft would get this all sorted out, I would like to try my hand at a console MMO for some reason, but not bad enough to try out FF XI or Phantasy Star Universe, no disrespect to those two games, but they're not my cup of tea.

There are plenty of movies out there I have watched and enjoyed multiple times, same with some books, and music, it didn't ruin the enjoyment for me. I fully expect it to be that way when I probably play Heavy Rain multiple times, so no disrespect to what he said, but meh.

I'd like to see Shadow of the Colossus as some on the thread have stated they would like to see. I already have God of War I and II, and the only other PS2 game I own is SotC, so, they release a BR version of that and I am set. The GoW BR news is great because Im soon to purchase a Slim just as soon as either my Uncle or friend buy my 60 gig from me.

I wish I could download it, the only way it seems I am able to get ANY updates, is to go onto the website and download it to my flash drive. Otherwise if I try to update straight from the PS3 it always seems to time out, anything else I have no trouble with. I will just have to wait until it is available from the website, ah well.

I know this is a longshot, and not a very well known game, but, I wouldn't mind seeing "Blade of Darkness" on XBLA. It was a decent hack and slash'r back on the PC and if I am not mistaken was slated to be made for the original Xbox as well, but was canceled. Barring that, maybe Half-Life and or it's expansions (especially Blue-Shift)

Will be getting Dragon Age, first, despite it being pushed back. I will purchase Borderlands at some point down the road however, and maybe by the time I do, the price will have been lowered somewhat.
