I agree with your friend, why the hell would I want to watch a movie and not play a game? I like games where you just pick them up and play, like quake 3.JigglyWiggly_
I HATE WHEN PEOPLE HATES A GAME BECAUSE OF THE FIRST COUPLE OF MINUTES. For example, my friend just bought MGS4(great game) he played the beggining where you run away from the gekkos...then he is like this game sucks, its slow, and boring. It got me mad, i perfer games with a story and that makes sence, not just a run out and shoot. Have you ever done to a game, if you have which game? Do you know some1 that does it?

I have a friend that for whatever reason (short attention span I suppose) will NOT watch a single cut-scene in a game, if he can skip it, he will. I can't stand it to be quite honest, unless it's MP (not as in co-op), I will not play any games with him lol. I tried playing RE5 with him the other day, and needless to say, I just couldnt do it.
My friend does that, I was playing Gears2 at his house and he would skip them and go "opps my bad" i wanted to chuck my controller at him :x
My friend just flat out tells me he doesn't want to watch them lol, he doesn't do the "oops" thing.
Well the ones for PC back in the day were great fun and this is developed by the guys behind the first game, so if its anything as good that it should be awesome. Theres a new trailer for it out on the Marketplace btw.
Came across this preview for Brink. Cant say that I had really heard anything about this game before now, or maybe I had but forgotten. It sounds pretty cool imo and maybe yet another game to add to my 2010 wish list. Thoughts ? Brink

(and I say kinda because not playing Snake means not a proper MGS game IMO...)

Were you angry when Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance, was released on Xbox? When Twin Snakes was released for GameCube? When iPhone had a version of MGS4 (even if it apparently sucked) ? Why would anyone be mad about this ? You will still buy it, others will buy it, and the world will keep on spinning.
Totally not bashing the game here... in fact I thought the demo was quite fun. However, my 3 year old daughter loves batman so I let her play the beginning part of the demo and to my surprise she completely cleared out the first room of thugs (both waves) I told her when she sees the lines press triangle... otherwise press square. Either she is a prodigy or the game is casual balls.

Haha, similar story here, was watching my four year old niece for my sister the other night, and she saw me playing the demo and, she being a batman fan as well, had to play it. She did fairly ok, died once, but she pulled off some pretty slick looking combos that even I hadn't done lol, and I didnt even tell her the controls. I feel like a noob now :(
