The fact of the matter is that people are not seeing the legal or business side of this. If their was a huge amount of failures around, either microsoft would recall due to the high cost of having to repair them all (ie, it is cheaper for them to recall), or their would be a class action lawsuit filed against them for selling a faulty product. 3-5 % is accurate because it does not warrant a faulty product, just some bad seeds. If it were above 10% their would be a huge amount of people returning, or filing claims against microsoft. Case in point, if their was a huge problem their would be a way bigger outcry. Anyone care to remember sonys wonderfully working laptop batteries?
There was a party in my condo last night (Friday night) plenty of beer, wine, houkas, but most of all Wii.
If you haven't accepted that Wii is the superior platform at this point then you are hanging onto a dying system with false hopes. It isn't the fanciest or most powerful, but its clearly become the platinum standard in sales and development, even if most of that development is in the pipe at the moment.

At my parties i replace the wii with chicks, turns out for the best.
You are right, but so will the ps3 and xbox 360 graphics. Wii might be better then xbox, but it will never be better then even first gen 360 and ps3 games
