@iammcgruber: Not Sony though, the sales leader can never jump too soon, those behind can. I suspect you're right about 2019 for MS anyways. All depends on this Holiday & the specs and sales of the NX. IF Nintendo has a PS4 powered machine, with good sales, time for Xbox the Fourth, sooner than later.

Thank You, I've been saying this is what MS NEEDED to do all along. Business 101, don't let your competition get too far ahead. Out of sight, out of mind. In fact, they SHOULD have been 300 since Sony's price drop, always have something to combat your competition with.

Depends on price, over 200, nope. Also, will it be like early 2000s 3d? You know whenever you'd watch a movie, you'd get the headache from Hell. Vertigo, too?

Funny how Sony's leading but their aggressive pricing plan is still ongoing. Now MS, is behind but they're stubbornly staying at 350? Why? Wish I knew but even when the 360 was selling ahead of the PS3 and much cheaper too, they were STILL not as aggressive as they SHOULD have been. I give Sony major props for this tactic (believe me I DON'T give them their props often as I still believe the PS3 was gimped in favor of Blu-Ray). But credit where it's justifiably due as their main competition is doing NOTHING now.

That's it, THIS is the smoking gun I've been waiting to hear from Nintendo to CONFIRM that NX is 2016. IF you're launching 2017, you do NOT come out in late 2015 to say we're still going to support the current console. Read between the lines my fellow gamers, this IS proof that the NX is 2016. If you're NOT launching in the next 10 or 11 months, why even SAY this?

Only split that's as been as nasty (nastier, actually) to this was the Infinity Ward/Activision one. Or I should say the Jason West/Vince Zampella force out from IW courtesy of Activision.

Good for you Nintendo, while the U was a better console for us hardcores, the Wii was for the casual market, plain and simple. While there were games, for us gamers, on the Wii, we really didn't like the forced motion controls being tacked on. And with the sales failure of the U, it IS time to move on from the Wii brand of consoles. After Gamecube was their lowest selling system, Nintendo comes roaring back 2 systems later with an even bigger sales failure. Now before anyone becomes upset, I LOVE the U, but it has been a marketplace disaster, that is FACT. For Nintendo to stay relevant, they need to reboot starting 2016. Which is why I truly believe Zelda U is not a Wii U exclusive. Besides no original Zeldas on the U, we haven't even gotten a Metroid of any kind. Probably not a coincidence that the U has sold poorly and there's been no new Zelda or Metroid.

Sony has Uncharted 4, sold. Is Horizon REALLY launching next year? Last Guardian, I'll believe that when I can buy it. Same demo on new hardware isn't overtly convincing it's coming soon. X1 has more I care about exclusively and hopefully a new Zelda regardless of what platform(s) it releases on. When Sony FINALLY unveils God of War whatever, then I'll be a happier PS gamer.
