Didn't Miyamoto or whomever once say that they were going to change or make a major uphaul to the Zelda and/or Zelda formula? Because they were following the same thing since Link's Past? Or did they meant that Wii motion plus and heart censors was the 'revolution'?
I remember that blond chick from the no-one-knows show 8 Simple Rules. Man I hated her... I don't know who they're trying to appeal to, because I'm certainly not an Internet elitist and yet I get really annoyed by these stupid personalities.
In the age of the Internet, you'd think that America's Funniest home videos would be a sure fire hit, especially with stuff like Youtube going around. So why isn't it?
Not a single Tales game for the ever popular DS. They did not bother to localize Tales of Vesperia for the PS3 this is slightly understandable if Eternal Sonata didn't do well sales-wise. Though it's Namco's own fault for not realizing that America revolves around advertising. How is this company still in business? Heck, I've even heard rumors of them filing for bankruptcy at one point?
[QUOTE="hydralisk86"][QUOTE="eccentric_view"]I don't know, Chrono Trigger was a disappointment for me. I can appreciate the excellent battle system created way back in 1995 which should have been a model for RPGs with random battles to aspire towards. However, there is no story worth caring about in that game. Compare FF6, where you definitely care about the characters, to this game where you just don't give a hoot. Quite frankly, I think it was a mistake to adopt the silent protagonist shtick. Chrono is a boring, wooden character and his allies don't really spice things up. I think I somewhat agree with the characters. They didn't have as much depth, and they didn't have problems, like the ones in FF 6, where here you understood the characters, and they grew on you. And that's why a good game stopped short of being a great game. For all the great things the game had, nothing matters if there isn't a strong story to tie it together and make us want to continue going from place to place, area to area, sidequest through sidequest, etc
