i think the ps3 is more relible to import than the 360 cause it haves low hardsware failure rates but for people in the u.s and can refund the xbox for hardware failures plus ithey get a new one

hello i used to play the ps3 on a hdtv but the it broke and i had to go back to my old sdtv untill i get a new one about 4 month from date of this post.

but from my experence useing a sdtv relly take out the wow and the reson of even having a ps3 (which is better grafix)

so unless you have a hdtv coming soon its a bit pointless of owening a ps3

well fisst of all is that which ever console i chose it will have to be imported and so if it brakes i am basicly screwed

so the red ring of death was relly a big threat for me and the ps3 had low melfunction rates.

secondly the last time i checked the ps3 only used 30% of it procecing power while the 360 used 70% (not sure if there are right)

but my point was that the 360 does not have much to impove on while the ps3 could still offer even better game.

too bad for me that i over looked the importance of ram, how easy it is to code games and muilty threads which are the ps3 main bottle neck making them almost the same in game prosesing (well at least for now). so now for my concusion i still think the ps3 is a good chosie for me but for thouse who are luck to live i a place wher you can use a warrenty if you get rrod

you should buy a 360 and allow the 360s games to abuse the 360 hardware. cause when you get the rrod you also get a brand new 360 with it!

but creating compatition for the ps3 is relly something

people benifit from other wise the ps3 will still be 800$ and the games will

be about 100$ due to lack of compatition and come on the nintendo brand

is not a real competitor for decent playing.

secondly even thou the ps3 offers grate hardware it haves a uniqe prosserseor that demand custom codes

making it very diffucult for programes to take advantage of it while the xbox haves simple prosser demanding simple codes so game desigens can use it potental to the fullest so i other word the only reson to buy a ps3 over a xbox right now is that the ps3 hard ware is fucherproof and hope the disighers learn how to take advantage of it. however i am starting to fear that xbox 720

might be relised before the game desingners learn how to use the advantage of the ps3

probaly when ps4 comes out
