I would rather have a two way approach. I would like the game to come out in downloadable format but also have a hard copy version. Make the downloadable one cheaper because you gut out the middle man and there you have it, everyone can have the best of both worlds.james007_14

I concur. This is the best approach to the downloaded game dilemma.

If you're in Ontario, go to Canada Computers. Thier prices for memory cards are usually the lowest, aside for one-off sales from big box companies.

I purchased my copy brand new from Play-Asia for $18 (after shipping). You should re-consider getting it shipped, as it costs half the price as Wal-Mart is advertising it for.

If you're really desperate, RE, RE2 and RE3 are all available as PSOne Classics on PSN Japan. Hope you know your Japanese well enough.

Download it from PSN Japan.

Otherwise, keep dreaming. Sqaure has yet to release a single PSOne Classic on PSN North America.

The cut scenes for Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth are indeed rather long and slow, but that shouldn't prevent you from experiencing the great gameplay. Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, Phantasy Star Portable, and the Monster Hunter series are some more of the well received RPGs.

I don't mind the UMD, but the PSP 2 should do ANYTHING before going all download, which is the way they've been leaning (ahem, PATAPON 2. I agree flowersjf. Nice name by the way. :) ) My suggestion for the PSP 2 would be to have 2 control sticks that aren't as delicate as the one on the PSP, (duh) and use a full disk slot, about the size of a DVD. Then, it should be able to play DVDs and PS 1 games straight from the disk, and maybe PS 2 games if it's powerful enough. Something like that would not only rocket the PSP 2 past anything Nintendo could dish out, but it would attract people who just want a good portable DVD player as well. Sony's profits would skyrocket, retailers would be happy because they're still selling a physical product, and there isn't a portable gamer alive who wouldn't like the system. It's pure genius. :P

Utilizing full CD/DVD size media for a portable gaming device would be do anything BUT skyrocket Sony's profits. The whole point of a portable gaming device is, well, to be portable. Gone are the days where you'd attempt to stick a CD player in your pocket and walk about comfortably. The PSP is already a little bulky - full size CD/DVD media would simply make it worse.

Where are you located? I'm in Toronto, and have been searching a while for Silent Hill: Origins. The best price I could find was $25 used at a independent store in downtown Toronto. Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles has been recently reduced so it was a automatic buy for me a month ago. Great game - finished the remake RoB and currently exploring Dracula's castle in SotN.

You do NOT need to complete the remake Rondo of Blood to play the two original games. Actually, you don't even need to complete the stages where the unlocked games are found to play the two original games. It's like the sound items - once you find it, you don't need to get it again if you die.
